Our favorite place!

These Smoky Mountain girls love Edgewater Inn.Always the same,Clean rooms,quiet and safe surroundings, also right across the street from the beach.Terry and staff are always soo friendly! This is our favorite place! See ya soon

Absolutely lovely!!

My mom and I had the greatest stay. We hadn’t been to the beach since 2011, and we decided to stay at Edgewater Inn again. We remembered Terry from the last visit, and he was so kind and friendly! He kept us in the loop of things to do in the area and worked hard to be sure we were comfortable during our stay and had what we needed! Also, Sarah that worked the front desk was lovely and sweet when she took our reservation over the phone and in person! It makes such a difference to have a personal connection with the guests, and it’s that kind of family feeling that makes us wanna keep returning!
Our room was simple and tidy and worked like a charm. They’d updated since we were last there. We could have used some extra lighting in the kitchenette area, but other than that- it was perfect for our needs! Sand is not easy to clean, and yet our room didn’t have a speck of it when we checked in! Bravo to the cleaning team. It’s a quaint two story hotel with an ocean view from the seating area upstairs…. And literally in 10 seconds, you cross the street and there’s a boardwalk to the beach. You can’t beat the location!!!!! My mom and I had a truly wonderful time making memories, and from the little birds enjoying the bird feeder outside our door to the shells and palm trees around the hotel to the happy sincerity of Terry and Sarah…. It was excellent!
Thank you so much. We can’t wait to return. Edgewater Inn made it to our “sentimental list” of best moments of our trip.

Already planning a return visit

The room was much more than anticipated. It was so close to the beach, it was affordable, and it was clean.
The staff, shout out to Norma, were kind and accommodating.
I am already planning a return visit!

OK...depends upon your current perspective. They accept dogs.

Great location across from a public beach entrance. 5⭐️ Economical. 5 ⭐️ Accepts pets. 5⭐️ Great shower head. 5⭐️ Good refrigerator. 4⭐️Plethora of towels. 4⭐️ Very helpful and courteous maid. 5⭐️ Office staff cheerful and accommodating.5⭐️ Property/building is a three star accommodation.3-2⭐️ If you are used to the Hilton or Marriott, you will not be happy here. If you are there for the beach...this is a rough gem. It’s all perspective and what you put an importance on.

Every stay at Edgewater Inn has been excellent

I have stayed at Edgewater Inn many, many times with my husband and our 2 little dogs. The below left below-I must say-we have NEVER EVER had an experience like that. The rooms have always been very good. Terry the manager has always been helpful and gracious. As for electrocution-I can't imagine how that could happen-how could they be alive-what wiring touches the door? Anyway-just want to say that we have always been treated like family while staying there. It's hard to find a reasonably priced pet friendly hotel close to the beach-this is across street-ocean view-with public access bridge. It's a 15 min drive from our favorite place-Ocean Drive Beach and SOS.
