A Shining Star

The recent remodel and upgrades are remarkable! With a new GM, there's true devotion to quality & sincere care for every guest. As a local, I'm witnessing a curated experience of legendary staffing, wonderful food and restorative hospitality measures while traveling. Torges late night patio is the escape you need...and the Torges burger & onion rings will not disappoint. My home away from home...even if it's just down the street! Pros:
- Beds and pillows comfortable
- Big smart TV
- Small shallow pool for little kids (reason we stayed)
- Easy access off interstate and felt safe
Cons:
- Mold, mildew and hair in the shower
- Pool deck tile and very slippery. My son fell 3 times, walking slow. The pool is positioned weird and only about 2 feet to walk around at the corners. Hot tub not very hot
It wouldn’t be our first choice to stay again

Enjoyed this stay July 2026

We enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree Austin! We were greeted with smiles, the famous fresh baked cookies and treated with kindness by Ally and Angela! We came back thru Austin and stayed there again. It was very comfy. We loved the newly remodeled bigger room! Very comfy!
We also love Torgies Bar as meeting with family made it easier for us having not to drive anywhere after driving all day!
Thanks Doubletree…and Torgies!

Comfortable and clean place to stay. Sports bar in the ground level, not loud and a great place to chill.

One of the best stays I've had! Everything was clean, and the staff was more than helpful! I will definitely go back.
