A perfect getaway in Calatayud!

We stayed two nights as a couple at the Hotel Globales Castillo de Ayud and the experience could not have been better. It is a very quiet and impeccable hotel in terms of cleanliness, ideal for disconnecting and resting.
The staff's attention was perfect from beginning to end, always attentive and friendly. In addition, the gastronomy pleasantly surprised us: the breakfast buffet is super varied and everything was delicious. Our reservation also included a very complete dinner (to choose between four starters and four main courses, dessert, drink and coffee), everything delicious and with the great touch of gifting us a bottle of cava.
Its location at the entrance to the city is a big plus, as it allows for very easy parking, but at the same time it is a very short walk from the historic center. We loved Calatayud and the atmosphere of its streets, full of terraces perfect for having an appetizer.
Without a doubt, a 3-star hotel with an excellent price-quality ratio that exceeds expectations. Highly recommended!

Dissatisfied

The cafeteria service is terrible; in the mornings there is no table service (even if there are no customers at that time), and they do not give you anything for breakfast other than pastries after the buffet hours. Little desire to please and accommodate and basically treat the customer with care. The treatment is apathetic and serious, very unhelpful. Not going back

It parks well in the surrounding area.
Hotel very close to the center, and 30 minutes drive from the Monastery of Stone.
Spacious room, the only thing that instead of double bed, is double bed.
Good value for money.
Friendly staff.

Awkward pillows

I asked for a change of pillows, the pillows are very thin, but I was unsuccessful, they brought me 2 more thin than those that were there. I reapplied when I got to the room, they told me they would tell me something and they didn't tell me anything, so thank you, but for me, it was a bad experience. In addition, the room was extremely hot and the bathroom smelled like stale tobacco, a smell that was permeated on the walls.
This time, it was a bad experience for me.

Tragic

Kitchen tried to foodpoisen me with a purple entrecote. Terrible breakfast. Gard beds, dirty bathrooms. Bad elevators.
