Amazing resort offering excellent value
The most outstanding aspect was the staff - ALL of them from the waiters to the bar staff, reception to the cleaners everyone was super helpful and super friendly.
The rooms were extremely comfortable, our South facing balcony sheltered and sunny and the bed amazingly comfortable. And the food! The choice and quality couldn’t be faulted.
I cannot recommend it enough.

A little different this time around
We give this hotel five out of five because it is a fabulous hotel and my honest review is not a bad reflection, just a couple of suggestions. And I apologise to families in advance of this, again it’s just my experience and how I think it could improve.
Firstly the Breeze bar. The seagulls are a problem throughout the day - however we are in their backyard and they are going to come where the food is. Can I suggest that notices are put up around the area asking people to clear their tables and make use of the very obvious stations that are provided to dump their food they have left and put the plates and cutlery away. I’m sorry to say that some people will not have the savvy to do this without being told. I think it will help the situation. People are also walking into the toilets barefoot then going into the food area barefoot and with half their bodies hanging out over the food. That in itself is not hygienic so maybe request that people at least wear something on their feet and cover up a little when going into the food area.
Secondly the main restaurant. It’s no longer a nice relaxing way to end the day over dinner. Screaming children running left right and centre food all over the floor and kids screaming non stop. How about restricting families to eat before 8pm or better still split the two dining rooms between families and those that don’t want to sit with families.
Reception bar. There is a sports bar and a bar down in the theatre, last night we could hardly move in the reception bar for children and this is after nine at night, it’s not relaxing at all.
I know there is an adults only section in the hotel but it costs nearly £2,000 more to stay there and I wouldn’t want that because the atmosphere around the pool during the day is great, with everyone living their best life.
This is a fab hotel with great staff and great food, I am only making suggestions as I overhead a lot of adults saying they wouldn’t come back because of the dining and bar areas. That would be a shame.
Having said that thank you again Barceló for a lovely stay.
