Location great, accommodation only ok, staff lovely

Good points: great location, close to the train station, beach, shops and restaurants etc. staff member at the desk was very nice and helpful, when there. Dog is adorable. Hot water in shower, AC worked, though noisy. Wifi worked ok.
Bad points: the room was very very small and dark. The bedroom had one light bulb in the centre of a wall above the bed, instead of the ceiling and didn’t give much light. The sun would be bright outside but the room would be very dull and dark. The bathroom was equipped ok though the shower leaked when used and was squashed in such a way that water spilled out everywhere when having a shower. The rooms doors didn’t close fully and felt warped from damp from the bathrooms. This resulted in banging and slamming doors morning, noon and night, from different rooms. You can hear nearly everything in the neighbouring rooms and all chatting and moving around in the halls. The bed wasn’t very comfortable. I don’t mind going up stairs but we were on the second floor. If we were higher it would have been more difficult with luggage. The stairway is very narrow. The furniture is minimal so can’t comfortably set up a laptop to work and the light is too poor, and the room is too small. The reception was mostly empty so if we had any questions that weren’t urgent, there was no one to ask, didn’t feel very secure either. We did have success when ringing the numbers regarding check out times etc. Though it wasn’t clear on the check in form. Windows looked to a narrow internal shaft up to the sky, but being on the second floor we got no light from it. Windows couldn’t be opened which would be bad in case of an emergency. Overall it needs some attention for upkeep and comfort for value for money.

Harry Potters double cuboard

Awful Harry potters double cupboard, where we start, this was such a small room, the wardrobe door had a crack in it, the lighting was so dark I the room, the handle on the main window fell off when you touched it snd the view was into an internal tiny patio area filled with building products at waist height, the bathroom shower tray was so small that it flooded the bathroom, that window in thier didn't open either and the shower head was broken.
We were the unfortunates that has our flights cancelled this week due to the wonderful air traffic controllers in France, we had two nights stay here and anything other than the first floor will ve a nightmare for anyone as there are a ton of steps, so don't bother with the roof terrace with a tiny pool and two sun loungers as yoy will have to go up 200 steps first.

100% Scam 115€ for one night for 80€ ikea beds. Cheap hostels in Asia are better I guess.. Absolut disappointing….
Old fashions bathroom, bad quality bed, other rooms have window with a view inside a corridor…. Still don’t know how people are able to stay here

Hotel needs better maintenance, misleading photos

Central and cheap and my partner was impressed by the pictures and the pool. When we got to the room, it was clear the rooms weren’t being properly maintained. The room had a cracked mirror, the sink was coming away from the wall and the shower didn’t work well. The bathroom stank of a combination of burnt hair and rotten eggs and I believe the toilet was playing up/possibly a cracked sewer pipe. Also there was no natural light in the room. We couldn’t find the pool and we’re told as we were leaving it was at the very top of the building. Messed us around when we left and tried to charge us twice for the booking. A shame, as the initial concept of the hotel was a nice one.

Didn't want to refund the deposit despite free cancellation

I just would like to share my very negative experience with this company. I made the booking in December for next year July via booking.com. There was a free cancellation. A week after my booking the accommodation charged my card €65, saying that it will be 100% returned in case of cancellation. I had to cancel the apartment, so I did well in advance to the free cancellation date. Since I haven't received the refund even after 3 weeks, I decided to contact the accommodation. I called them several times and the answer was always the same: ok, we have your number, will call you back in a few hours. Then I was writing emails, contacting them on WhatsApp, sending them the proof of payment from my bank statement... no luck. What they did?: BLOCKED my number and completely ignored my query and lf course they just didn't want to pay my money back. Then I had to involve booking.com and now it seems that finally after more then 2 months of waiting) I'll get my money back. So well done Sitges 11! You're liars and the worst experience I've ever had with accommodation.
