Outstanding in every respect!

We chose the right night to visit Sigüenza, the night that Spain deservedly won the World Cup of Football. The pretty little town came alive during, and especially, after the game , so much so I wonder if the partying has stopped yet!
This hotel was excellent in every way. Great value and superbly comfortable and modern without losing it's obvious old world charm. Our room had everything, our only regret was that we were unable to experience the restaurant as this was one of two nights set aside for staff descanso. Potentially, this could have affected breakfast next morning but the temporary arrangements made by the hotel for the reception staff to serve a more than adequate breakfast was first class!
If ever we pass through Sigüenza again we won't even consider alternatives!
Just one negative, parking is street only and it did present a challenge before we found a safe space for an overnight stay.

Good option to get to know Sigüenza.

The hotel is very well located, perfect for getting to know Sigüenza on foot and enjoying the city. Our room also had some very beautiful views of the Alameda and a church, something that gave it quite a bit of charm. The staff was polite and friendly at all times, and the cleanliness was very good. We stayed in a standard room and were surprised by how spacious and comfortable it was.
As points for improvement, the hotel does not have parking and parking in the area is not particularly easy. The breakfast also caught our attention. It is not a buffet nor can you choose what to have for breakfast, but rather they serve you directly what they have prepared. We found it quite weak and it is one of the aspects that I would improve.
For everything else, a good option to spend the night in Sigüenza, rest comfortably, and have everything at hand to get to know the city.

Hotel to repeat

Charming hotel, in the heart of the city and very close to the Cathedral and historic center. Very varied breakfast and very friendly staff. I will return without hesitation to enjoy again both El Doncel and Sigüenza which is beautiful.

Flirty hotel but with ugly detail

Right hotel with spacious room and full bathroom with shower. Breakfast served at table both sweet and savoury and with option to repeat . A terrible detail has been that I (woman) made the reservation, paid and the invoice has been issued in the name of my companion (man). I find it extremely ugly that these macho behaviors continue to be done today

Flirty hotel

Flirty hotel. Spacious and comfortable room with a correct bathroom. Breakfast served at the table very abundant, with sweet and savoury options, offering to repeat what we wanted. Easy to park in the surrounding area. Very friendly staff.
