Nice appartment in Santander

We stayed in this apartment for 6 nights.
The apartment was clean, not very big, but nice, with almost everything needed for a good stay.
It is located 3 min. walk from the beach and about 20 minutes from the center, convenient parking nearby.
The staff were very friendly and helpful for any need.
Unfortunately in the apartment you can hear all the noises from the other apartments or from outside.
The wi-fi wasn't very strong.

Perfect location for travellers wanting beach access in minutes. Sight seeing bus stop around the corner. Supermarket very close. Housekeeper was excellent. Advise travellers to check the room type and amenity. We paid for a kitchen: freezer door missing, no tea cups, no kettle, no toaster!!!! Maintenance poor: blown light globe, broken trundle bed cover, shower drain cap missing. NO AIR CONDITIONING.
Nice property. Check in was a disaster. Property was to email access codes 48-72 hours prior. Nothing. Rang them - no answer. Contacted via WhatsApp 7 times but found out they were an agency who told us they could not help. Left us with no access codes until multiple efforts managed to make contact. All sorted 3 hours before check in.
Would stay again if maintenance and check in were improved.

Santander is beautiful, but this place should not be enabled, tourism from Spain would have to check.ñ

First the apartment said 2 rooms and only has one and a livingo von beds, very bad beds, safe not safe, in fact it does not work came and opened it with lock, imagine leaving something.

Very old and poor care.

The apartment is very old and very poorly maintained, the furniture chipped, glass in the bathroom broken, the screen off the hook with the risk that it could fall, the sink does not swallow water, the box spring of the bed totally folded, when we tried to open the bed of the living room, we fell to the floor and finally say that it was quite dirty in the less affordable places , as well as all the kitchenware. We called the attendant and she attended us very kindly, but she did not solve any of the problems during our stay.

Improveable

The best is the location, next to Sardinero beach. We were in a studio with a fairly spacious room, but with a major flaw: it has no wardrobe. The only place to place clothes is a bar in the service, next to the water, and where the mop also hangs. I find it incomprehensible, there being room in the room for a small closet, or at least for a dresser (there was also no drawer to place clothes in).
On the floor, there was enough for 2 people. The towels are separate: one of the ones left looked like food by the mice, and I couldn’t change it until the second day, because when I realized there was no one at reception. Besides, they didn't leave us a footpad.
The service is quite mediocre: reception closes at 7pm. Outside of those hours you have to call a phone, but we can't get an answer. One day our cistern broke down, I warned him at 19:45 (going to the hotel), and they didn't fix it until the next day. I think it's a big enough problem to fix urgently, not the next day.
In short: the best: the location. The worst: attention and lack of closet.
