Don Miguel is located next to Ronda’s famous New Bridge, overlooking the gorge. It has a café and terrace with spectacular views, and offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TV in four different buildings.

Our room had beautiful views of the bridge, and we had drinks and dinner at the hotel restaurant on multiple occasions and the food and drinks were wonderful every time.

Total disappointment
This year we have brought Family over and what a total difference.
My Husband had the same food Chorizo in Red wine with chips, last year he raved about it so much so my Daughter in law said she would have. What a total disappointment...... the Chorizo came out with chips at the bottom of the bowl (soggy) and the Chorizo wasn't cooked properly it was like rubber. We asked for it to be taken back and recooked and chips done separately. They still got it wrong. All the chips were under cooked and as for the Chorizo we gave up. The other annoying thing was we had wasps around the table which came from nowhere that did me in. Hate wasps.....
When we tried talking to them about it they didn't understand and kept saying "No entiendo".....
We said we are not happy paying for the 2 dishes and yet they still expected us to do so.
This is why I have written this review and unfortunately even though we Love Ronda ❤️ we won't be doing the Don Miguel Restaurant again or Recommend.

* Checking in was a little awkward as the female receptionist seemed like she didn’t want to be there! She was a little difficult to deal with, lacking a friendly attitude & didn’t speak English as per the hotels.com listing, however the male receptionist was the polar opposite & very helpful.
* I booked a terrace double room with my father expecting 2 single beds but it was a double bed! Other double rooms listed showed single beds, so it’s confusing when booking! Fortunately we were offered a much smaller balcony room with single beds but there was no refund of the higher fee paid for the terrace room.
* Our room still had a fantastic view of the Puente Nuevo albeit through bars on the balcony.
* The room was very clean with plenty of shower gels, though the towels were not changed after the first night.
* There were no amenities in the room such as a kettle, iron or fridge just a hair dryer.
* The balcony door in our room had a broken latch so we had to wedge it closed with a chair until we managed to fix it & the wardrobe door would not close properly
* The restaurant was very expensive & the reviews stopped us from attending!
* However the views alone & the proximity the the centre of Ronda made our stay worthwhile
