You'll be happy you booked!

What a beautiful hidden gem, a true respite of grandeur for us tired Camino walkers. The building is grand, the pool is clean and inviting, the singing birds and greenery gorgeous. The owner?/host Alex was accommodating and gentle, the breakfast of fresh cooked eggs, yogurt and home made toast was outstanding. There's a large yet quiet fan in the room and we had a constant soft breeze, so left windows open at night. Highly recommend!

Great Camino stop

We recently stayed one night here whilst doing the Portuguese Caminho to Santiago. One of our best stops. Very comfortable room and the lovely young manager cooked us a delicious evening meal. Beautifully designed home, incorporating old and new. We had a lovely view of the church and square. Right on the Camino and well worth walking the extra few km out of Padron. Breakfast was also available for a small charge.

Delightful and convenient

Had one night here on way from Portugal to Santander via Santiago de Compostela. Very good accommodation, we had the self contained annex which comprised a small kitchen, sitting room bedroom and two bathrooms. Extremely welcoming and friendly host who willingly provided lost of information about getting into Santiago, parking etc. Turned out it was a national holiday and pouring with rain but nevertheless had an excellent visit. The house has a very pleasant garden and a small pool - not ideal weather for exploring either though ! Small restaurant right across the street does very good coffee, croissants, hot chocolate and churros for breakfast!

Very Nice Casa Rural

I was walking the Camino with two other people. We stayed here on our last night before walking to Santiago de Compostela. It was very comfortable and right on our path. It was clean and spacious and well appointed. I was delighted to have a bath in the bathroom. I would stay here again, but I wouldn't eat dinner or breakfast here. You would be better off getting something to eat at one of the other restaurants/bars in town.

Rustic exterior, modern interior

If you're walking the Camino Portugues, you cannot miss this hotel - it is right on the path, right past a church. It is just a few kilometers outside Padron. The interior is modern and the owner obviously invested a lot in the property. Our room was very nice and comfortable and the bathroom was clean and modern. The only drawbacks were the lack of air conditioning and some noise from the main road.
