Unique

We stayed one night in this hotel to live the experience and the truth is that it was very cool. The place is unique... from the moment you enter... rooms with glass everywhere and very relaxed. Of course... they have the minimum of furniture (bed, fridge, wardrobe and little else... there are no tables, to sit there are only cushions, there is no TV, there is no place to leave towels, no soaps etc...). Although it is not the most practical hotel, it is worth spending a day here... everything is unique and different. Breakfast is pretty good and they also give you a bag with a picnic when you leave. The worst... the mosquitoes that riddled us... The best: the rest.

Unique experience

Curious hotel to visit once in a lifetime. Bed on the futon floor. Headless. This prevents reading at night. Glass walls, with glass ceiling, which can be closed everything at night by curtains, to prevent the entrance of light in the morning. There are no bedside tables or even a chair in the room. There's a poof in the closet that I used to put on my shoes. The overall design is very special. The sink, without tap and with a curtain of water on the surface that is started through a sensor. It's curious but not practical. The “bathtub” always full and warm is pleasant. The floor of the shower is with stones from the area, to give atmosphere of volcanic area. Like a flood. The marquees are metal and in the bathroom there is moisture, so in some places they start to be rusty.
Breakfast is complete and at check out you are given a box of products you have not consumed, along with water, bread, salads, glasses, a razor, etc. They call it a picnic.
In the room and in the hotel you breathe tranquility. The stay itself was very pleasant, although I understand that the design is groundbreaking and there are people who do not like it. I think it's to be only one night and enjoy a pleasant, but very special stay.

For one night

It's a different experience for a couple. It is not a hotel to use, you immerse yourself in a room that is a cubicle in the middle of nature with a lot of charm.
You can make an entire book of great photographs for its fantastic design. The pool-tub with the warm water is great and the best of the room.
There are many reviews that speak about the “excessive minimalism” in the room: no TV, place to hang towels, and a somewhat strange sink... We liked them, but the “worst thing” was the hardness of the bed. We ended up with a horrible back disease. It's like sleeping on the floor... very uncomfortable! You think you'll spend a day of romanticism and rest, but we don't rest well for the mattress!
Also, I advised by mail a few days before that I was not clear yet if we felt like having dinner, and they did not answer that question... When we arrived they told us that the dinner could not be cancelled and we had to take it in tuppers... Anyway...
It's a one-night stand. To live the experience that is unique, yes, but not to repeat (for us at least)

Surprising but very nice.

Nothing like any hotel you've been to before.
You start with the cabin that serves as the reception. Not a piece of furniture, not a decorative element, lucky that the receptionist is excellent and explains perfectly why this extreme minimalism.
The room has almost not a single piece of furniture but nothing is missing. There's no TV. The plugs are hidden. The light is minimalist to the extreme. The walls are plastic and the light comes into full swing. Despite that, privacy is guaranteed and there are electric curtains, which at night, can be lowered so that in the morning the light does not disturb. Just above the bed is a window that lets you see the sky.
The room has a spectacular water area with a large pool that doubles as a bathtub with warm water and a large shower.
Right and hearty dinner and breakfast. They are taken in a very nice separate area. Very attentive staff.
Highly recommended.

An experience

It is a unique and very special place. A hotel that is not a hotel is another concept and you have to go with an open mind. I have wanted to go for a long time and we really liked it, but there are a couple of things that have not convinced us. First of all, the bathroom sink. That thing about washing your hands in semi-stagnant water doesn't convince me, and I don't even remotely brush my teeth there (although they say that the water is renewed, when you add soap you see how long it takes to go). Secondly and more importantly, you wake up very early because there is a lot of light coming in. You can cover the walls and the ceiling, but there is no way to cover the floor and a lot of light enters at dawn. Aside from that, the pavilion is beautiful and we loved the “onsen” it has. As for gastronomy, we had the pica pica menu for dinner and it was delicious, and so was breakfast. Also, it is a nice touch that they give you a picnic bag. It is a place to go once in a lifetime. I'm glad I went and I would recommend it for a special occasion, but I wouldn't do it again.
