Located 5 minutes´ walk from the nearest beach, ALEGRIA Palacio Mojacar features spacious gardens. The hotel offers a gym, communal outdoor pool and terrace with sun loungers. Each room has air conditioning, as well as a satellite TV and a telephone.

Paradise in the Palacio
Loved the calm tranquility of this Palacio.Top quality fittings and furnishings and excellent ambience.Stayed for a week and wish it had been Lou.Upgraded to a sea view room as standard overlooking car park.Be aware of this.Food was varied but could have been hotter.Gave up on col scrambled egg after two days!Go all inclusive because 15 minutes walk to nearest bar/ restaurant in Garrucha.Pretty little fishing village.Cava for breakfast was lovely as was free balanese beds in ground.Will return .Oh.Catch bus up to Mojacar Pueblo which is one of the prettiest towns in Spain.Wednesday is market day.

Not fully all inclusive
Quite a nice hotel but situated quite far away from the main part of Costa Mojacar. Tried walking, but it really is a bus ride away (very cheap though).
The pro’s are the rooms are fine with lot’s of storage space and serviced daily. Staff are efficient and some quite friendly.
We went all inclusive and the food in the main restaurant was good and varied. Beer and wine also of good quality.
Unfortunately these are the cons!
No tea/ coffee making facilities in the room (surely a basic requirement for even the cheapest of hotels?)
We arrived at 10am only to be told that the all inclusive offering didn’t start until midday (never ever experienced that before) !!
One day we decided that as it was a nice sunny day we would have an all inclusive snack on the outside terrace, only to be told that during restaurant opening hours all inclusive snacks could not be served!!)
The all inclusive offering is also very limited both with drinks and snacks.
Entertainment also very poor . Only twice a week. You need to hop on the bus if you don’t want to be left in a hotel with absolutely no atmosphere at all.
Would not return due to the situation of the hotel and the fact that it is not fully all inclusive - beware

Good but could be better
Lovely hotel, staff are great, its spotless. The only fault I could find was with the all inclusive we arrived at 1.00am on our first day due to a flight delay thus missing a whole days all inclusive, on our last day we were due to be picked up
At 5pm and they made us pay 10 euros each to use all inclusive, I've never experienced this before usually on checking out we are told to enjoy the facilities until departing so we won't be returning, it was good but others do it better

Top quality hotel
We come to this adults only hotel annually. Very nice relaxed vibe with facilities and food choices in excess of what you would expect for a medium sized hotel.
The staff are absolutely excellent and well motivated. Nothing is too much trouble. We feel we should single out Laura on reception who has been at the hotel for some time and is always supremely professional and friendly.
There is great attention to detail which ensures consistent quality of service and facilities. It is well appreciated.
It's good that a cable machine has been added to the gym which seems to be well used.
One small suggestion is that there are duplicates in weights on the dumbells but they only go up to 15kg a touch low for regular gym goers.
An extra few pairs of dumbells maybe going up to about 22kg would fill this gap. There is loads of room on the racks.

Palacio Mojacar
I have just returned from a short break with some old school friends.
First let me say how nice the hotel is.
The cleanliness of all areas was perfect. The meals were excellent. The bedrooms were clean and well serviced
The staff were very friendly and efficient which sometimes is not the case. All were true professionals.
I must lastly make a special mention regarding the manager Ioritz.
One member of our group had a nasty fall requiring hospital treatment. The manager was outstanding calling for an ambulance and acting as an interpreter.
He was a true professional and an excellent ambassador for the company.
