Good value for money

We stayed there because we were looking for family room for 4 people and other hotels do not have.
The hostel is clean, and the room for 4 well. Nice staff, breakfast although paid for part, fine.
If you drive, it parks well, which in other areas of the city is impossible.
The only one but it is somewhat removed from the center, and to go x the night walking from the center you have to cross a park.

Experience not to repeat

We stayed in the hostel being the only option of the city of Mérida! Horrible experience, room for 110€, terrible isolation since we could hear everyone on the floor. Even in the isolation in the room we could hear the noise of the waters coming from the other rooms. The TV had only the radio version.
Exaggerated price where no breakfast was included.

Merida deserves to be seen, I loved it

We stayed only one night, because we were passing through, very clean hotel, the room somewhat small, it is all renovated and very well preserved. We paid 90€ for one night, I found it expensive but it is where the prices were moving at that time in Merida, there is enough place to park next to the hotel, until the city center there is more or less 15 minutes walking. Breakfast at the hotel and was fine

Regular soundproofing of the rooms and bad luck with previous guests smoking despite the ban.

In general the hostel is good, it is in a very quiet area but there is very little soundproofing from the inside. As a wake-up call, the shower of the room neighbors and all the guests who passed through the door before we got up. You can hear the noises from the hallway a lot. Very comfortable beds and clean rooms, the 3 rooms we had. Of course, I cannot help but mention that in one of the three rooms we had the bad luck that the previous guests must have smoked a lot inside despite it being prohibited. Room 17 had a horrible smell of tobacco. They couldn't move us because there were no more free rooms but they offered me air freshener which was of no use. We threw it out and left the windows open and after 10 hours when we went back to sleep it still smelled the same.

Simple but well located to visit Mérida.

We visited Mérida during the Easter holidays and this small hotel was very good for walking around the city. It was easy to find and I could park and leave the car a short distance away. If you want to walk, the Acueducto de los Milagros is a short block away and the Roman theater a longer 20 minute walk. During the summer it might be too hot to brave the walk so you might have to drive in closer. Our room was small but clean. Breakfast was simple but adequate for us. Considering the rates it is a good option.
