Great stay, great location, fantatsic staff.
Great location, the beach and city are both within walking distance, really easy to get to and from the central Alamada train station for ease of getting to and from the airport. Turn right out of the hotel and walk in a straight line, cross the bridge and there it is, perfect.
The hotel itself is fantastic, the staff are amazing, really friendly, polite and helpful.
We had a room with a harbour view, it was great, the rain shower was fantastic.
We had one issue on our first day: the door to our room wouldn't lock when we left, and you could get back in without using the room key.
My partner went to the reception to report the issue, and one of the ladies at reception came back up to check the issue. She immediately returned downstairs, within a couple of minutes, she rang the room to inform us that someone from maintenance was on route, moments later, he arrived. Within 15 minutes, he had changed the lock, tidied everything up, got me to check that I was happy with what he had done, and he was gone.
Hotel has a great atmosphere, relaxed, peacful.
Personally, you have to judge places on how they deal with issues; that is the true measure of somewhere, on that basis, this hotel is exceptional.
Cleanliness was great, you could see every day that the room had been hoovered, tea and coffee re-stocked, couldn't fault anything. Thank you to Faty, who looked after our room.
Even though our room overlooked the harbour and had a busy road nearby, with the doors closed it was so quiet.
Will definitely return, in fact, we were already pricing up to return later this year.
Only wish i knew all of the names of the staff we dealt with to thank them for everything they did for us and for making our staff so great, thank you to all of you, Muchas Gracias.

Fantastic stay once again at the Room Mate Valeria. Fabulous pool and rooftop bar area with helpful staff. Think we may have been given an upgraded room as don't remember a Dyson hairdryer or nespresso coffee machine being in the room. Breakfast plentiful and very reasonably priced.

Loved this hotel and will definitely use it as malaga base for future trips. Ideally situated and the rooms delivered over and above for their price
