Top class hotel is a brilliant location.

Perfect location for using the metro, visiting the royal palace and shopping and eating at Gran Via.
The hotel is very grand in all communal areas, beautifully decorated, clean and tidy. Top class hotel all round.
Views from the rooftop pool and the 360 rooftop bar were incredible you could see right across the city.
The rooftop pool while not huge had a number of sunbeds and chairs and we always managed to get somewhere to lie down. Perfect to have a cool down after some sightseeing.
Rooftop bar is beautiful on the evening the views are incredible, service was a little slow and drinks very strong!
We booked a junior master suite with a balcony. Room was spacious and comfortable. Bed was lovely. We were a little disappointed with view from balcony would have been so much better if on front of the hotel also only one chair to sit on balcony. No outside noise though so was very peaceful despite being right in the city.
I thought the hotel was good value for money especially in the main summer holidays. Breakfast was included and excellent choices available.
You can only use the facilities like the pool until check out which is annoying if you have a late flight. We requested a late check out was told we had to phone on the day of checkout and then no availabiliy. Luggage storage available though.

The hotel was amazing, very helpful when asking questions, especially not being able to speak Spanish. The breakfast buffet was incredible, tons of choices everyday, great way to start a busy day touring such a beautiful country. Rooftop views & amenities were spectacular. Great place to stay centrally located in the heart of all the sites.

Fantastico

From the moment you enter the hotel every member of staff greeted you with a welcome and a smile. The perfect place to explore the beautiful city of Madrid and also having the pool and terrace a great place to relax after sightseeing and recharging your batteries for the evening. Breakfast was included and the service and quality of food was excellent. Last but not least enjoying a cocktail on the 24th floor looking out across at the magnificent palace.

RIU Plaza Espana - Fantastic Hotel

What a fantastic hotel in a great location. We had an amazing time celebrating our 30th anniversary. The hotel were aware and provided us with complimentary champagne and chocolates which was a tremendous gesture. Breakfast was awesome with lots to choose from and the views from the 360 rooftop bar are second to none. Would highly recommend this hotel

Great hotel with fantastic facilities

Great hotel with fantastic rooftop bar.
Rooms good size, very clean & towels changed daily, fresh water & beds made.
The only negative I have is the luggage storage, no system in place & my suitcase & hold-all was in the wrong room, big panic for 5 minutes until it was located.
