Never again.
I started with good expectations of the place, although the room was very patched up, and the bed is a sad box spring with an uncomfortable mattress. Window that opens to a light well where no air flows.
The shower screen has mold.
There is no possibility of having a nearby relaxation light, so you have very bright white lights that keep you awake.
There is no air conditioning; there is something resembling a penguin that makes a dreadful noise, making it hard to sleep. So, between the window and the fact that they haven't resolved the air conditioning issue in 5 days during this heat... it feels disrespectful to me.

A bodrio the Foster Hostel
Expensive board for the premises, patched furniture, old.Awkward bed.
They didn't clean me in the last 5 days I've been, or change towels.
Lili placed us in the attic, on the 4th floor where she washed towels and tended because the other rooms, one was small and one noisy.
Well located.
I booked breakfast and it was in a local nearby, with three crappy options.
This type of accommodation should be controlled, not anything goes. They charge you a fee and it's crap.
Lili's attention from 10, the only good thing.

We have been scammed!!!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL TO ANYONE!!!
I don't give a lower score because you can't!!
We booked this hostel and they told us that check-in was until 6:00 p.m. When we said our plane was arriving at 9:00 p.m. and asked about other check-in options, they didn't give us any options. CHECK IN WAS NOT POSSIBLE AFTER 6:00 PM.
So we couldn't check into the hotel on the indicated day, having to stay a night in another hotel at the last minute.
We asked the hostel if we could check-in early the next day and our surprise was that they canceled our reservation, charging us both days!! They didn't give us the opportunity to go the second day.
The message we received from the Hostel as a justification that we could not check-in was:
"We are sorry, but if a client does not show up on the day of their reservation, they cannot occupy the next day because it is already a Show"
KEEPING, OF COURSE, THE RESERVATION MONEY FOR THE TWO DAYS PREVIOUSLY PAID.
I recommend you go somewhere else!!

Dreadful Experience

Absolutely dreadful experience at Hostel Foster. I had the misfortune of booking a stay on 12/29/23, right in the heart of New Year's Eve weekend, only to arrive and find the place deserted and inaccessible. Despite having a confirmed reservation, there was nobody there (or available at their emergency lines) to check me in or even offer a semblance of assistance.
This left me stranded in an unfamiliar place, scrambling to find alternative accommodation at a much higher cost during one of the busiest times of the year. Not only did Hostel Foster ruin my vacation plans, but they also managed to drain my wallet and waste precious time when festivities were at their peak.
To add insult to injury, my attempts to contact them for help were met with silence. No response to calls, no replies to emails. It's like they vanished into thin air, leaving me high and dry with no recourse.
I've demanded a full refund, but they flat out refused. Their response (at their emergency email) on the Tuesday after the holiday weekend was simply that I arrived after check-in hours (which was not effectively communicated nor stated on booking.com). As if that's any excuse for leaving a guest stranded during one of the busiest weekends of the year! It's a pathetic attempt to deflect blame and shows their complete lack of accountability. Shameful.
Consider this a warning to anyone thinking of staying at Hostel Foster during peak times: don't bother. Save yourself the headache, the stress, and the money.
And to the management of Hostel Foster: Shame on you for your disgraceful treatment of paying customers, especially during such a significant weekend and having no consideration for travelers coming from afar nor emergencies that may come up. You should be ashamed to call yourselves a hostel, let alone a business. You deserve to be shut down for your abysmal service and utter disregard for your guests' well-being.

Very bad experience, I do not recommend it at all
We went for work and leisure with another couple, trusting what they offered on their website. We paid for 4 nights and we could only stay one night, the room was very noisy, the blinds didn't go down completely, in the bathroom we couldn't even sit up straight (I'm 1.59, so I'm not tall)
There was an emergency telephone number that we wrote to and they have not yet answered the claim that we made to try to reach an agreement, verifying that you have read it
