Luxury, hip and zen on the sunset side of Ibiza
As soon as you step over the threshold of OKU Ibiza, you forget that you are at Sant Antoni de Portmany, the in my view slightly less attractive side of Ibiza. This was already my 4th visit and I don’t want another hotel on my favorite island. The whole hotel is an oasis of peace and radiates that in all areas. Beautiful rooms, everything immaculate, super friendly staff, a swimming pool with DJ (chill, no crazy party here) so I no longer have any need to move to one or other hip beach club. Gastronomic top, both the very nice breakfast buffet with also à la carte options, as well as the snacks served at and around the pool. Absolute winner is restaurant Teyo, delicious fusion cuisine in a great setting.
I am already counting down the days to another Ibiza trip, which will be back at OKU anyway

Just Book It
There are very few hotels that make you want to book another stay before you've even unpacked from the first one, but that's exactly what happened with OKU Ibiza. We loved it so much that we're returning this weekend, just a month and a half after our last stay, which probably says everything.
From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless. The hotel is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained and has a relaxed, understated luxury that never feels pretentious. Every member of staff we met was warm, professional and genuinely welcoming, making us feel valued throughout our stay.
The pool deserves a special mention because it's what really sets OKU apart. The atmosphere is incredible. The resident DJs create the perfect soundtrack throughout the day, starting with a relaxed daytime vibe before gradually building the energy as the afternoon goes on. It somehow manages to feel lively and sophisticated at the same time, without ever becoming overcrowded or losing its laid-back feel.
The service around the pool was equally impressive. Drinks arrived quickly, the team were always friendly and attentive, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. It's exactly the level of service you'd hope for from a luxury hotel.
In fact, we had booked a day at CBbC during our stay, expecting to spend the whole afternoon there, but after only a couple of hours we came straight back to OKU because we genuinely preferred the atmosphere around the pool. We ended up spending the rest of the day there, and that's probably the biggest compliment we can give the hotel.
A special thank you also goes to the concierge team, who were fantastic before we even arrived. They helped me arrange for a bottle of champagne to be waiting in our room for my wife's arrival, and everything was organised perfectly. It was a lovely personal touch that made the start of our stay even more memorable.
Since our stay, we've also been arranging a guided running experience for our return visit this weekend. There was quite a bit of back and forth to get everything organised, but the concierge team were incredibly patient, responsive and helpful throughout. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they made sure everything was sorted in the end. It's exactly the sort of service that makes you want to return.
Although we didn't have breakfast, we visited the breakfast restaurant every morning for coffee and freshly made smoothies before heading to the pool. Both were consistently excellent, and the service each morning was just as warm and welcoming as everywhere else in the hotel.
We've been fortunate enough to stay in some wonderful hotels worldwide over the years, but OKU Ibiza has something genuinely special. It's not just the beautiful design or the facilities, it's the atmosphere the team creates. Relaxed, stylish and effortlessly cool, it's somewhere you genuinely don't want to leave.
Thank you to everyone at OKU Ibiza for such a memorable stay. We're already looking forward to seeing you all again this weekend.

5 star prices 3 star hotel
After looking at this hotel with recommendations from our travel agent and a friend we were looking forward to our first trip to Ibiza within this 5 star hotel. Having been in numerous 5 star hotels all over the world this would rate at best a 3 star but with 5 star prices! We had one of there best rooms being the roof top terrace but after going up the lift and walking down the concrete corridors with no air conditioning we wondered what the room would be like! The room was extremely minimalistic , of poor construction (you can hear street noise through the windows) ,you could also blow harder than the air conditioning so our first impressions were of disappointment. The terrace was ok with your own sun-beds and a dinning table. The area with two patio chairs and a table was so small you couldn’t get to it and if you did sit on one of the chairs your legs would be pressing up against the glass balcony. We did complain about the A/C but nothing happened. Breakfast was ok but after the first day when I asked for some more water in the room which they promptly informed me they would charge me for it we just lost interest. Generally Staff were good.Adult pool ok but drinks are very expensive, no bar open at night only in teyo. Overall very expensive for what it offers. I’m not bothered about paying if its value for money but this hotel is simply not that. I get the feeling though this could be the norm in ibiza.

Excellent staff, location, atmosphere, hotel - perfect
The hotel location, atmosphere and rooms were brilliant and the staff are incredible, so attentive and friendly. Excellent value for money. We will definitely recommend and stay again.

One word: catfish. Hotel looks nothing like the photos you see online. I regret booking it.
