Great Location, but not The Hotel Collection experience we expected
We stayed at Meliá Granada for two nights through Amex’s The Hotel Collection. Three things stood out positively: the excellent location, the wonderful breakfast spread with gorgeous views, and our dinner at Nervio.
Javi at Nervio was exceptional—warm, patient and genuinely helpful with his recommendations. He never rushed us and made us feel truly welcome. I wish I could say the same about the rest of our experience.
Unfortunately, most of our interactions with the hotel staff were the complete opposite: short, rude and unhelpful. Almost anything we asked for seemed to come with an additional charge, and we often felt like we were being shooed away rather than taken care of.
For a hotel included in Amex’s The Hotel Collection, we expected a much higher level of hospitality and service. In our experience, Meliá Granada simply did not live up to that standard. I would not recommend staying here, and I would urge Amex to reconsider its inclusion in The Hotel Collection.

Hotel with a view.
The best move was to upgrade to Level 1 club access. The view from the breakfast area was breathtaking. Sierra Nevada and Alhambra Palace in one frame. Just awesome. Hotel was nice and functional. Good location.

The true luxury of the Meliá Granada
My friends and I set off on a trip to Granada to a hotel that we knew enjoyed a certain luxury in both food and quality in all its aspects. What we never imagined is that the treatment received by the workers (both receptionists and those in charge of the level area) would far exceed our expectations and become our favorite aspect of our stay at the hotel. We strongly recommend that those staying at Meliá Granada return the affection with which they are treated to said staff and that they dare to ask for advice and ask questions because their answers are of incalculable value, including unique recommendations and crafting advice applied to the goal of our trip. In short, we were very happy with the treatment from everyone, specifically the receptionist Paula, for being the first smile, the first piece of advice, and the first wonderful person we met upon arrival; Raúl for being the most practical and quick when it came to lending a hand, and his affectionate greeting whenever there was an opportunity; Lidia for her brilliant smile and helpful commitment to making the stay at Level a luxurious, clean, and attractive experience; and last but not least, Nataly, who has shown exceptional class in dealing with all the clients, professional and personalized treatment, and being young people, she managed to offer us essential advice to make our trip unforgettable, and to make us want to return even if it is just to see her.

Perfect
A perfect hotel in every way!
We had an excellent stay. Everything was perfect: the cleanliness, the service, the welcome, and the professionalism of the entire team.
The location is ideal for discovering Granada, with everything you need nearby.
