Dream fulfilled

An unforgettable experience. When you enter the monastery you feel peace and tranquility, nothing that bothers you.
The rooms without noise that bother you, the bed super comfortable.
The lovely staff, thank everyone for their attention and in particular Marcos for everything.

I think it is currently closed, much more I can not add, there is cafeteria but it was also closed. From the Dana that area is affected

a place which needs urgent improvement for meals

a nice location but very little outside space , one terrasse only. the prices for a la carte as well as *menu del dia* totally overpriced and of absolut deplorable quality. had the worst lasagne et fish in my life. breakfast was acceptable, a nice service. rooms were far too small for saying fabulous, pics 3 d but clean. its a nice place but i would not call it fabulous.

Fantastic stay, got friendly

I can't rate this place highly enough, nothing is too much trouble for Fernando and paqui, they made us and the dog very welcome, can't wait for our return visit. Set in a quiet hamlet the monastery was built in 1642 and has a huge church connected. This hotel is perfect half way point for anyone traveling to UK with pets.

Fantastic hotel in an old monastary

It's been a while since I've stayed in this hotel, but it will stick in my mind forever as one of the best I’ve ever visited.
The hotel is housed in a carefully and with sense of authenticity restored monastery. Already from turning into the parking lot you get an impression of soundness and peace. This place is suffused with a touch of class that you also expect in the better paradores. There is no indication that in this building a hotel is housed. Everything on the outside is still in its original condition, except maybe for a small plaque on the entrance and glass doors leading to the reception.
The hotel is sumptuously decorated with antique furniture, beautiful paintings, luxurious textile, ... The same goes for the rooms: carefully chosen furniture in line with the entity, without being effusive however.
About the food I can also be brief: it was of high quality.
The hotel is quite far from any town, but the area offers so much natural beauty that people who come to hike or who are in search for tranquility will certainly find their liking here. An absolute must!
