Great location, in the heart of old town. Very helpful and nice staff. Comfortable room. Very small, quaint town. Hotel is right in middle of a plaza , can get a little lowd, but manageable. Internet is horrible.

Lovely place in the old part of town

This is a one star hotel but don’t be fooled. The rooms are clean though not a suite, the bed is great.
But why go here…The staff are nice… but most important is the courtyard.
We love it - you basically see the world passing by, especially the locals.
All friendly and chatting.
It is placed in the old city, on a lovely small square with walking distance to everything.
Buen Camino.

Fawlty Tower

As a place to stay, location is excellent and if you have a room with nice view from the watch-tower structure, quite charming.
That said, a bit disorganized and chaotic a la Fawlty Towers. Unable to find reservations, lengthy check-in once found, towels missing from rooms, etc.
Towels are amongst the thinnest in all of Spain. Aircon is set and cannot be changed. If overlooking the courtyard, can be noisy until the taverna closes.
But ocne you get through all that, pleasant enough and in a wonderful part of the old town.

Review of the hotel bar.

I’m not generally keen on hotel bars, but the terrace at Hotel Palacete is a really nice place for an al-fresco beer. They also do pintxos and raciones and the service is very good.
It was pretty busy when we were here and it seemed very much like a place where the locals drink. We enjoyed our evening.

Nice and beautiful place with undeniable charm both the hotel and the covered terrace!

Hotel with lots of charm very well located in the old town overlooking a small square. Very clean and nice room and top bedding. The staff is very welcoming and very nice. As for breakfast, it is a pleasure to have it on the covered and heated terrace where guests of the hotel and regulars of the neighborhood (of all ages) mix creating a very friendly and warm atmosphere.
We had already been there 2 years ago in June and had a lot of fun coming back in winter.
Good address for us ❗
