The Aparthotel Bardon is situated 400 metres from the popular beach in Castelldefels. It has an outdoor swimming pool (open seasonally) and all apartments have free internet. Each practical apartment has modern wooden furniture and a flat-screen TV.

Great Value Stay, Clean, & Plenty of Space for Families
We stayed at ApartHotel Bardon for 11 nights over the Christmas period 2021. We booked two apartments, which the hotel kindly put us in side by side (family with young children).
We had late flights, so the hotel arranged to leave the apartment keys in a lockable box outside the entrance gate. We were sent the key codes the day before, and it all worked out fine for us.
We checked in the following morning, and paid the local taxes.
Both apartments came with beds made up, along with plenty of towels, & toiletries. The apartments were very clean, and nicely furnished. The kitchens had enough crockery, pots/pans, & cutlery to enable us to eat in most days.
We were on floor 1, and both apartments had a small balcony overlooking the pool, and street.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
We collected a hire car on our first day, and managed to find somewhere to park on the street every day of our stay. You can pay 10 Euro to park on property if you wanted.
The apartments are within easy walking distance of the beach, and there is also a nearby shopping mall, with plenty of well-known shops, fast food eateries, along with the likes of Lidl, Carrefour, & Aldi close by. Around a 7 minute drive, or a 25 minute walk.
The apartments had complimentary free high speed wifi, which kept the kids happy playing on their laptops, and enabled us to watch TV from home too.
Coming from England we were lucky with beautiful weather, and most days we were able to leave the patio doors open to see the blue skies. For us it was almost summer like.
Overall it was a very positive stay, and we felt it was priced very economically. Cleaning was exceptional with the rooms being serviced every other day.
The only negative for us was the noise coming from other apartments, which of course is totally beyond the control of the hotel. Some days were better than others, perhaps noisier guests staying for a day or so, then moving on.

Do not book here - you will lose your money
I booked this hotel through Expedia and chose the option "book now, pay when you arrive". The hotel charged my credit card for the full rate of my stay the following day. Not only did they charge my credit card without my authorization I couldn't get ahold of them to get a receipt of this transaction. After a month and a half of trying to contact the hotel on multiple occasions I cancelled my reservation. I have the cancellation confirmation which states clearly that I will be issued a refund as I am within the cancellation policy. I have yet to see a refund a month later. Expedia has been trying to contact the hotel but cannot get in touch with anyone. Anyways I DO NOT recommend anyone book here. They are scammers.

Great place to stay. Nice little apartment hotel. Nice people working there. The apartment was modern and smart. Nice garden with a small pool. Short distance to the wonderful beach. Bus to Barcelona, Sitges and Castedelfels just down the street.

Beautiful Apartment
I would highly recommend this apartment. This was our first time visiting Barcelona and I would definitely come back and stay in the Aparthotel again. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and even gave us directions to the nearest bus stops and famous attractions. The apartment was spotless and there was nothing out of place. I loved my stay here and I will definitely be staying here again in the future. We could not ask for nicer people to look after us

great weekend break
We were staying here as a weekend break away, we didn't want somewhere in the city, but equally not too far away so we could venture in every day. The hotel is conveniently located to satisfy just that.
We arrived late in the evening on our first day, but the hotel staff were pleasant enough to be waiting for our arrival and show us to our apartment promptly which overlooked the pool (we didn't use it however as we were only there for a short while and in November it still seemed a bit cold.)
The taxi ride from the airport cost roughly €25. However the hotel staff were very friendly in offering us public transport suggestions if we preferred this method of travel.
We caught the bus into Barcelona town which is only a 5 minute walk to the bus stop from the hotel to catch the L94, or L95 bus which takes you straight into Barcelona town, roughly 30 minute journey, and runs quite frequently (every 20 minutes I think.)
The apartments are also about a 10 minute walk from an Aldi, Lidl, Carrefour and other convenient shops if you fancy the walk, it is also only a 5 minute walk from the beach too, which has some restaurants along the front.
The apartments are very clean and good size, with private balcony. Very pleasant staff, and very enjoyable weekend, would definitely visit again.
