Celebration of my 50 year birthday
What an absolutely wonderful hotel-everything felt brand new, fresh, and beautifully maintained, and the view was simply breathtaking.
The beach is stunning, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water. We travelled in April and were lucky enough to have amazing weather; we even went swimming, despite the water being a little chilly.
The breakfast buffet was outstanding, with every delicious option you could
imagine. Freshly pressed juice and real honey at The Level made it feel
extra special. The Level itself was such a cozy and inviting space-we truly enjoyed every breakfast, along with the delicious tapas and snacks
throughout the day. It was also great to see healthy options like nuts available.
The staff were always friendly and genuinely did their very best to make our stay perfect. Another big plus was the Rituals shampoo, conditioner, and soap in the room, along with how impeccably clean everything always was. Our
room even had a sea view from the shower, which made the experience feel even more unique.
This was our first time staying at a Melia hotel, and it certainly won't be
our last-we will definitely be coming back.

Reservation not as agreed and unfriendly staff.
Staff very little understanding and reservation not honored.
You pay for a room with a sea view, thus with an extra charge, and you end up with a view of the rooftops with the air conditioning units.
They are fortunate to have a very beautiful location; however, they do absolutely nothing to find a solution or even offer a goodwill gesture.
Which is quite a shame.

A honest review
My husband and I have just come back from a 4‑day break here. It was our first time staying in Magaluf, as we usually go to Palma Nova for my birthday at the end of June. I can be quite particular about comfort and cleanliness, so we were a little unsure whether Magaluf might feel too young or rowdy. We couldn’t have been more impressed, it actually exceeded our usual favourite hotel.
The hotel was spotless and the staff were consistently polite and helpful. There are plenty of lifts and ramps. The two pool areas (adult and family) were well kept with free pool towels and the water wasn't freezing. We spent our time at the adult pool, where there were always beds available, not always a umbrella. There are Bali beds you can pay for if you want a treat. Next door, Nikki Beach offers a livelier vibe with DJs and beach beds, you can hear the music from the adult pool, but we enjoyed it as it added to the atmosphere.
We stayed B&B. Breakfast included the usual cooked options, plus meats, cheeses, pastries, croissants, toast, fresh juice and plenty of coffee. Sitting outside with the sea view was lovely.
In the evenings we ate out and were really impressed with the bars and restaurants nearby. There’s lots of ambiance and even romantic spots if you want them. We liked Roots restaurant, great beach views and a DJ while you eat although service was slow due to a technical issue, but we still enjoyed it. If you want livelier nightlife, the main strip and BCM are close by.
We didn’t find the area too expensive, we usually spend more in Palma Nova.
The beach is lovely with clear blue water. I personally prefer Palma Nova’s beach, but this one was still good. Sunbeds are around €20 each with lockers. You’ll also see the usual sellers walking along the sand selling sangria, melon etc.
Our room was comfortable with lots of storage. The bed was firmer than at home but still fine, and the pillows were extra soft, you could get lost in them, you defiantly need the two they give. The air‑con was strong, had three temperature settings, and was quiet, we didn't see any blankets for when the colder setting was on. Blackout curtains worked well, although my usual gripe (As I'm light sensitive) is the little gap at the sides that always lets light through no matter what you do, lol. Maid service is available daily. At a push, there were too many mirrors opposite the bed for my taste, but that’s just personal preference. We had a sea view and also overlooked the ponies next door (room 516). Nights were quiet, which we appreciated.
Check‑in and check‑out were smooth, and check‑out at 12 was ideal. We were given a slot to shower before our journey home and a room to store our cases. The wristbands were brilliant, they have a chip that opens your door and lets you charge items to your room. Really convenient.
We often walked out the back way straight onto the promenade with bars, but that route takes you across sand. If you prefer to avoid sand before meals, you can go out the front and cut down one of the paths instead. We liked having the option of music, ambience, or both. All ages were staying here too, which was nice to see.
It was also my birthday while we were there. In most hotels I’ve stayed at, there’s usually a small complimentary gesture, and although there wasn’t anything here, it was known at reception because it was noticed and mentioned when they took my passport details. It’s not a complaint at all – just one of those little touches that can go a long way.
We’re definitely going back and have recommended already.

Unbeatable hotel
Perfect stay, both the staff and the room and the area of The Level were incredible. We would also like to mention Johanna and Amílcar, who were very attentive and assisted us perfectly at all times.

120 euro for the sunbeds!!!!!!!!!!!
It is unacceptable to require hotel guests to pay 120 euros for a set of sun loungers in front of the beach, and without providing the basics such as water and ice.
