Despite some shortcomings, it is recommendable.

If one wants to escape mass tourism, the hotel in the quaint fishing village of Caldes d'Estrac is very suitable - there is no other hotel there!
With the suburban train, one can reach the center of Barcelona in 40 minutes.
It is a 10-minute walk to the beautiful sandy beach. Also within walking distance from the hotel, one can hike in the mountains in the hinterland.
The hotel is simple; the building is somewhat run-down and could use more renovation and attention.
However, the positives are the hotel pool and the rooftop terrace with a breathtaking view.
We were very impressed by the great commitment of the hotel team under difficult conditions!
Overall, we were very satisfied!

The room and bathroom was terrible with the smell and clean. The shower very very unclean and bad all. The price is not good to the clean and comfortable.

Horrible it's Harry Potter's room under the stairs it's dismal on every level and sal plus

First time in my life. This is not a hotel room c is a closet with 1 bed glued to 1 wall. Heating makes a hell of a noise not manageable to sleep. The window does not open. The bathroom is tiny and as a bonus no hot water. No one's ever been there. Accustomed to hotels is the pinnacle of horror. I should have slept in my car. I don't even put a star. Pass your way c is the absolute horror.

Very outdated hotel. Needs a complete renovation. The rooms are way too basic. Lacking of items. Bathroom door and sink are not operating properly. For the pool you need to leave the hotel.
Location is good. Close to the beach. Staff is friendly.
