6 nights in an oasis of calm

I had to go to Barcelona for an exposition. I was dreading doing the tourist thing yet again. This hotel was recommended by a business associate. IT is a hidden gem. A little bit off the beaten track but well worth the small extra effort. The walls open to a small garden and swimming pool. A sense of calm immediately comes upon you. The rooms are air conditioned and comfortably appointed. The hosts are like your best friends. Calm, accommodating, charming and above all attentive to your needs. The local town is literally filled with great little restaurants. Much better than eating tourist paella in Barcelona. I highly recommend a stay here.

Gem of a hotel

This is such a lovely hotel. I was searching for hotels in the area with pools and happened across this - it is inland which I thought might be an issue but it is a 5-10 minute drive to a free car park, lovely beach, and the train station into Barcelona. The rooms are spacious, clean and air conditioned. The pool is delightful and it is so quite and relaxing. It is an easy wander into the town and there is a great selection of cafes, restaurants and there is a lovely deli/supermarket where you can pick up a sandwich for lunch. The owners could not be nicer and are so welcoming. They are happy to serve you with drinks and recommend/book local restaurants for you. The were having some building work while we were there (so they will eventually have a lift to the upper floors, as well as a restaurant!) but this did not disturb us at all.
I hope to return - and thank you for looking after us so well!

F1 trip

What a hidden gem. The perfect place to relax in the February sunshine. Owned by the nicest people you will ever come across. Nothing too much hassle from buses, trains and not to mention the VIP f1 ticket (I will never forget the experience). Hotel so clean and tidy and well looked after. Room was great and nicely furnished, black out curtains were an added bonus. Lovely view from my balcony over the pool ( must have been close to freezing). This place deserves all the success in the world. See you soon! Steven.

Peaceful boutique hotel with lovely owners in Catalonian town.

Small select hotel with great facilities in a lovely local town near to the coast. The owners Fernando & Valeria are the best hosts possible who can't do enough for their guests.
We had a great week there, the rooms are air conditioned, the hotel has been modernised but within keeping to its character and has all the facilities that you need. Lovely swimming pool to cool off in and rooftop terrace with great views. Breakfast was served every morning on the terrace and was always delicious. Many good local restaurants within walking distance and a good local bus service to the coast and railway station. Peaceful oasis. Good walking and cycling area.

CHARMING OASIS

We stayed fro a week in early August and had a serene time, isolated from an outside world, yet centrally located to taste and drink Cabrils and surrounding towns. Wonderful host and hostess, sublime setting, great rooms, deep breakfast, highly recommended...
