Great little hotel - would use again.

Lovely hotel, I believe it only has 2 stars, but I knew that when I booked it, and in my view, it deserved more. My room was quirky and very nice, and functional. It was all super clean, although some bits could do with a lick of paint. The only real issue I had was that the showerhead refused to stay vertical. You see that more often in hotels, and it's such an easy fix that it should never happen. Besides that, lovely staff, great location, and I would use it again. Some other reviewers complained about the noise, my room had double glazed doors and when shut I couldn't hear anything so no issue for me.

Like Home ...

Hotel is in the middle of Casco Viejo (Old City) and easy to find.This was our 3rd and 4th time stay during March 2026 and we loved it again.In case of reservation you will receive "code" for main door and reception door.Rooms are in the second floor so you have to carry your luggage because there is no lift.Every room is an "art", you will like it.They do not serve breakfast but around the hotel there are plenty of cafes etc. The Ladies in the reception Tamar and Raquel helped us for check in , and we got map.Room & Bathroom , towels are super clean.For the last 2-3 years some hotels does not supply "slippers" , so bring yours.They put drinking water in the room.On the "mini reception" area coffee machine is available and there is also big fridge for you food etc.Nice environment full of cafes and bars/ restaurants.

We arrived late but communication prior to arrival meant it was very easy for us to access our room. The central location was perfect for a short stay.

Ideal for insomniacs

The hotel is really nice, the rooms are decorated very creatively, with fantasy and taste.
The welcome was very warm and kind.
But... unfortunately, we went two nights without sleeping which is a bit of a shame for a hotel stay... It is just above the few busiest streets in the city. A Saturday and Sunday night, yes, but still...
Noises of people talking, then singing, then screaming, then once you imagine everything over, noise of trucks coming to clean up the remaining garbage, then again, in the hope of a respite, trucks coming to dump all the glass bottles of the long evening in their crate!!!
Around 9am, everything finally calms down but slightly too late (or early) to imagine sleeping at last...
The sound is really disturbing, probably due to an obvious insulation problem...
Perhaps it would have been honest to warn us beforehand, although it wouldn't have changed much...
In short, if you like to sleep quietly or even with a light background, prefer another place.
