Lovely Hidden Gem

Centrally located & beach was literally 50 steps away! The lift to the apartment only holds 1 person at a time and we stayed in the 'Roma' apartment. The 2 bedrooms were small but they served their purpose to sleep in. The shower was big and spotlessly clean however there was only enough hot water for 2 people!! Good value for money & I would definitely use again if we ever come back.

AVOID

Avoid at all costs. Numerous problems throughout the stay. The owner/manager followed one of our party up to their room. Very, very dangerous place to stay. This was followed by spurious claims made and aggressive behaviour towards our party.

Great apartment in a great location

We were 2 couples aged 27-30 and we were in the Madrid apartment
Positives: The apartment is in a great location in Old Town, 20 min walk to the strip and 5 mins from tapas alley. The taxi from the airport can drop you/pick you up at the 'Ale Hop' shop at the top of the street (reccommend alicante transfers)
The apartment was pretty clean and the beds very comfortable. Wardrobes in both rooms, all amenities you need and bath towels and beach towels included
There is a washing machine in the bathroom as well as shower gel and a few little toiletries.
The staff were friendly and checking in was easy. There is a single person lift which was handy for me as I had hurt my ankle.
Coffee machine was a nice extra, and the kitchen is well equipped.
Shower is AMAZING with a waterfall and rainfall setting and a smaller handheld option.Great place for breakfast at the bottom of the apartments and lots of little supermarkets for any bits you need.Air con and fancy fan lights were really good too especially during the heatwave !
Negatives
Floor felt a bit dusty/dirty when we arrived and after a few days was quite dirty. Take slippers !
The blinds are electric and although that sounds fancy they're basically unusable as they don't work properly. We got the door one open but left the others closed all weekend.
No bath towel/mat so shower floor got very wet (especially when shower didn't drain properly)
Would definitely stay here again!

Rude staff AVOID

The man on reception is rude, abusive, aggressive and a stalker. He entered our apartment without permission, we received emails asking us to tidy up (in the middle of the day whilst at the beach)! He locked my friend in the office and said he was going to get his columbian friends to pay us a visit. I have video proof of him shouting at my friend. All this because we misplaced a plastic room key - we were given 2 upon arrival between 5 people and explained we lost one of them - he said it would be a £200 charge for a replacement.
He sent me abuse via watsapp and tried to video call me at 4am one day when we were sleeping. He is strange and we did not feel safe there at all. Do not stay here! Horrendous. Ps - no hot water for 3 days

Rude and aggressive staff

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had in an accommodation. EVER. The man on the desk not only had the worst customer service, but was aggressive and threatening. We were also charged €200 for losing 1 plastic room key. Absolutely absurd. I would fully recommend never staying here.
