Fantastic location
We stayed here with 5 persons during the summer. The cave was spectular, all details were taken care of by the owners. Pepa and Juan were very helpful with any questions we had gave us a lot of practical tips about what to do and where to eat (their dog was also really sweet). The swimming pool is very nice as well, not very big but certainly big enough for the amount of people at the accommodation. The region itself is absolutely beautiful and definitely worthwhile exploring. Overall this is a must-visit location you won't find anywhere else!

Disappoint a little
Please note that there is no reception service. The caves were cold but had condensation and the clothes smelled bad.
The pool to share had the ice water but it was nice.
The cave had quite dirt, spider webs and sloppy. Worn and old kitchen utensils and dirty shower.
He put a dog twice and several cats into our cave.
We couldn't dine outside outdoors at a table that was there because there were so many bees.
They leave you in the kitchen fly-killer, repellent etc but it is not enough. It's a shame I can't enjoy reading or dining outside.
Breakfast with jam and industrial butter a little poor.
The price is very high for what they offer. We were recommended by another couple friend but we found it nice but expensive for the service they offer.
The owners are attentive but should take more care of the cleanliness.

Good for 1 night
The decor of the cave is really very good and it is a really great and unique experience!
Fireplace is nice, but we had to clean it ourselves, in other hotels hosts did it on a daily basis.
Wi Fi was stable.
For December they allow us to book a minimum of 3 nights, so we had to stay there 3 nights which was not very convenient because the location is not perfect, and it is not really nice to live in the cave for a long time as there is no natural light and you start feeling claustrophobia.
The other caves were empty because of this policy. It would be better to have all the caves full, they just have to allow people to book for 1 or 2 nights and earn more.
On booking.com they advertise themselves like a hotel, but it is not true as they only come at the location for your check-in and check-out, they don't stay at the property. So it is like an accommodation renting, not a hotel.
There was no hairdryer in the room, so I couldn't wash my hair, I send them request through whatsup but they just said "sorry" and didn't bring it later during the day. So next day I also couldn't wash the hair.
On booking.com it is said that they provide you with breakfast but it is not true as they are not at the property. For our 3 nights they only once at check-in brought us bread (which we eat for 3 days, no fresh bread was provided later), water, butter, some jams, 7 coffee bags, tea bags. There is no coffee machine etc It is not a breakfast! We had to buy for our self eggs, ham etc and cook breakfast ourselves.
Overall, if we stayed here just 1 night, the score would be much higher as we wouldn't have problems with eating not fresh breakfast, cleaning fireplace, washing the hair, feeling claustrophobia etc

Cave hotel
Love this place for a unique experience. The owners try to make your time here as easy as possible. Comfortable beds, kitchen with coffee, and water provided. Owners make suggestions of places to eat. It is a trek down the hill but the owner Juan will drive your luggage down and into the cave. Enjoyed the experience. Would have loved the summer time more when the pool was ready to go. Would be there again

El alojamiento perfecto
Unas casas cueva fantásticas. Todo muy limpio y muy cuidado. Los anfitriones son un encanto. Se preocupan en todo momento de que te sientas como en tu casa. Hemos ido en verano y en invierno y gracias a la temperatura de la cueva y a la chimenea se está de lujo. El entorno queda en el Geoparque de Granada. Muy cerca de Guadix y Baza y con muchos miradores y sitios interesantes que visitar. Por las noches silencio absoluto y cielo estrellado maravilloso para ver a simple vista gracias a la escasa contaminación lumínica de la zona. Volveremos!!!
