This hotel exceeded my expectations. The grounds were absolutely incredible. The people were so nice to work with, and the room was large and spacious.

The Paradors are known for their service and exclusive settings. The bar/cafeteria was severely understaffed and the food underwhelming. The room was nothing (after being switched to the correct one) special. It was a disappointing experience.

Impressive on the outside, a disaster on the inside.

We went to the cafeteria. We sat at a table and they told us to wait, that they would come to serve us. After half an hour we left, fed up with waiting without anyone serving us. Incredible.

Soo old and way overpriced

It's impossible yo give more than 3 stars
Its SO OLD. Desperately in need of a total and complete upgrading. ALL the outdated furniture is only fit to be burnt on a bonfire. Bathrooms are ancient rubbish museum pieces.
Nothing has changed since the 1980's
Considering it's State owned , it's a very poor reflection of the government tourism office competence.
Room rates are astronomically expensive for what is really only a 3 star old hotel.
Location is fabulous and reception staff are friendly and everywhere is immaculately clean.. the ONLY positive comments
Better is to stay elsewhere in the cute town at less than half these prices and walk around the ramparts of this Parador.

Disappointing Parador in Baiona.

Parador with a panoramic location and traditional structure. Parking is disorganized and not easy. Common areas definitely not clean and neglected. Messy cafeteria. Restaurant with disappointing cuisine despite the expensive cost. Room lacking a teapot and coffee machine with pods. Bathroom lacking an exhaust fan. Air conditioning not adjustable.
