Great location, friendly staff
Stayed here with my friend for 3 nights in May, and it is the perfect central location for all the sights, the hop on off bus stop is nearby too!
The room was average, had most things we needed, but lacked space around the bed. The pool is nice, not too busy, but it gets shade quite quickly as is very over looked by other buildings. The staff here are really helpful and friendly, evening helping me carry drinks to my room! We didn’t eat here as we like to go out for breakfast. I would say this is a great hotel if you want a central location, nice service and clean hotel!

Great location
I stayed at Grupotel Gran Via 678 for two nights after my cruise. The location is great, close to Gracia, Plaza Catalunya and Universitat. The staff was friendly and let me check-in early, as I came directly from the cruise ship. I booked a single room with a double bed, and though the room was quite small, there was a wardrobe, fridge/minibar, desk & chair and a good sized modern bathroom with all the amenities you may need. There were lots of variety to choose from for breakfast, as well as a coffee machine with different coffee drinks as well as hot water for tea. I use lemon in my tea, and they got me fresh lemon slices when I asked.
I would say my stay was definitely good value for money and I’d stay here again

Super for a city break
Great location, super quiet with extremely comfortable beds.
This area is excellent as it’s not touristy so you can find great local bars and eateries but without the hoards. Lovely breakfast and super staff.

Excellent stay: strategic location and staff of unique kindness.
We stayed at Grupotel and the experience was fantastic.
The location is excellent: the hotel is in a very quiet area, but at the same time very close to many shops and restaurants, making it very convenient to get around.
The real added value of the establishment is the staff: all the personnel were extremely kind and very helpful to us. They allowed us to check into our room before the standard check-in time, and on the day of departure, they kept our luggage until the evening, allowing us to explore the city lightly since we had a late return flight.
The breakfast is excellent, very abundant, and with products of excellent quality. As for the rooms, they are not exactly brand new in terms of furnishings, but the cleanliness was absolutely impeccable. We really rested well.
Highly recommended, we will definitely return!
