Hotel room was smallish, but that was the trade off for the price paid. I can't think of any problems that we had during our stay. The hotel is well located. a short walk to La Rambla and the waterfront.
Not hotel related ... La Rambla is being repaved. It is currently a construction zone. Not a deal breaker, but large sections of the iconic strip is kind of out of action.

Great staff but not again for us

We stayed for two nights before our cruise. First, the Casa Lit staff was very accommodating and friendly. We were always greeted with a smile. The July weather was hot and unfortunately the hotel cooling system could not keep up. Our room was uncomfortably warm. Thankfully we had a fan for the cruise, without a fan, we would likely not have been able to spend the night. We also took towels, made them wet with cool water and used them to cool ourselves.
The rooftop was full sun, and the plunge pool was as warm as bathtub water, not refreshing.
The room itself was fine, very small, but we didn’t need more than that. There is definitely street music/party noise at night. For light sleepers it could be an issue.
Note: Casa Lit doesn’t have any USB ports or US outlets. You will need a converter.

For us, it is very important to know that you were always welcomed with a smile, because behind every stay there are people working with great dedication to make our guests feel truly welcome.
We are sorry that the high temperatures in July affected your comfort during your stay. On especially hot days, the perceived temperature can be more intense than usual, both in the rooms and in outdoor areas. The rooftop, precisely because it is an open and sunny space, can feel warmer at certain times of the day, which is why we also have different indoor areas where guests can rest in a cooler and calmer atmosphere.
Regarding the plunge pool, as it is a small outdoor pool exposed to high temperatures, it is normal for the water to become warmer during very hot days, as commonly happens in many urban pools without a specific cooling system.
Nevertheless, we especially appreciate your kind words about our team.

Enjoyed our stay! Room was very clean and well stocked. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Pool dirty. Room small, badly designed, beds uncomfortable. Damp in the room. Poor breakfast.

The staff were very good, particularly the staff at reception that went out their way to assist us. The location is very good for walking around town and public transport. Another aspect not really mentioned is its location of 650m away from the cruise ship shuttle. It is an easy walk with luggage to the shuttle.
