It was great to have a room with air conditioning! But the bed was pretty hard and the pillows were kind of unyielding.

Avila, a beautiful and monumental city. Hotel Puerta de la Santa, nice and central.

It is a very central hotel, a privileged location right next to the old town, very clean and comfortable.

It’s a small family hotel very close to Saint Teresa’s natal home church. Wish they had coffee cafe available early with perhaps a machine. Even though limited staff, Norma was very helpful and a sweetheart. On the negative side, there are no close restaurants or shops but the walk into the busier plazas was not bad at all and it was an easy walk to out the walls Lienzo Norte. Will definitely stay there again. Thank you to the owner 👏!!!

Tiny, but central

This hotel is two stars but is very central almost at the foot of the wall, so to go anywhere is very well located.
Perhaps it is not adapted to people with reduced mobility, since to climb the rooms, the vast majority have to climb stairs .
Depending on the dates I go in my opinion for a night on the weekend, it is a bit expensive, almost 90 € .
The rooms are fine but the shower is a bit small.
It should improve the televisions in the room, which, in addition to being slow, the controls sometimes do not work properly
It is still a good Hotel if you want to make a sightseeing visit to Avila, since being so close to the center and also park well nearby, it is a good place to stay and enjoy the city
