For the price you can’t beat it. Easy to hop on the bus (bring cash, no credit cards accepted) and go into the city.

Good experience

Infinitely grateful to the owner of this guesthouse. Due to a family incident
(my husband's hospitalization), my children and I needed lodging at eleven at night, and upon the hospital staff contacting him, he left his house and came to the guesthouse, providing us with a room.
The room had what was necessary and was clean, in addition to him being kind and taking very good care of us.
The breakfast waiter was also very pleasant and attentive.

We had an OK stay here, although the beds were uncomfortable and covered in a plastic protector. The location is convenient for getting into San Sebastián and once you’re out of the industrial estate it’s located in, the suburb is very nice. The hotel is also extremely expensive for what you get, although I understand the San Sebastián area commands a premium – I couldn’t say it represents good value for money.

Parking IS a problem + lack of adequate cooking utensils - not what you expect for 200/night in middle of nowheret

Be careful if you are expecting adequate kitchen facilities and parking. When a place says there is a kitchen and you are paying for it, then its reasonable to expect that basic utensils are provided, other why book it. No knives, no cutting board, no cooking utensils of any kind (spatula, laddle et). All was provided was 4 spoons, butter knives, fork...no kidding, that's it. Parking also a big problem, hotel has 20+ spots with their hotel "P" sign but after 4 days of never getting spot noticed that same work trucks occupied 12 of them and never moving. Hotel front desk tells me that anyone can park in addition to guests, there which explains the situation. Which means, you book a hotel in the middle of nowhere with expectation there ample is parking yet you find yourself driving around the neighbourhood at night after a day out looking for a spot. If I wanted to have problems parking, I might as well have booked a more central place.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, albeit really narrow. The toilet and showers were also clean and the shower was really good. Reception staff was friendly but were only there from 2pm, so check out at 9am was a bit confusing as we weren’t sure where to leave the room keys (we place them behind the reception counter). There is a bus that goes to San Sebastián which illegibly comes every 15-20mins, but we waited almost half an hour for it! Parking proved challenging after 7pm, although others options in the area were suggested by reception staff. Overall we had a good night sleep and should we return we definitely travel by car to the capital in our own car.
