Lovely visit!
Had a lovely week here! Big group of us went and were accommodated very well. Staff allowed us to check in early as some rooms were ready. Lovely and quiet. Pool was never too busy and no mad rush to reserve any loungers. Noise complaints are taken seriously as it is a quiet area and a few of the louder people in our group were warned, completly within reason.
Bar was lovely and nice for drinks and snacks during the day. Shop had anything you would need but is obviously more expensive than a supermarket.
Area is quiet but does have nice restaurants and supermakets nearby.
We were in Los Cristianos and Adeje most days but this was no issue as reception will call taxis that arrive quickly.
Close to airport and other bigger towns.
Really no downsides, just to note that the hotel supermarket and bar close around 6.15pm so will have to sort dinner either via cooking or eating out.
The atmosphere was quiet and calm, many families. Mostly Spanish and French, some Germans and Italians. Few English and we met no other Irish. This was not an issue at all and all staff were so lovely and helpful.
Rooms were clean and spacious. We were on the ground floor and had no issues. Beds on the firmer side but we all slept really well. House keeping comes once every 7 days so if there for a week your room is left until you check out.
We had a late flight on our last day and asked for late check out. €50 to stay until 4pm which was fantastic for us. Reception kept our bags and gave us key cards to access the pool when we returned the room keys.
If renting a car the parking is around €7.50 a day for the underground hotel car park or free street parking. Just not much available if you arrive back later in the evening.
Overally we had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

Health and Safety hazards that you will not be assisted with
A perfect word to describe this place is horrible. The property has various health and safety hazards, cockroaches being one, the beds being another a significant concern. They curve inwards, which you can already imagine the back pains caused from sleeping in such conditions. We have had to throw food away as we have found cockroaches on them and around the apartment. The apartment is refusing to assist us and advising that them mandatorily moving our room due to a plumbing issue is a form of compensation for us when in reality it was beneficial to them as water leaking onto the property below when we used our water would cause damage to their apartment, they also cut off our water so again, we was forced to move, therefore not complementary whatsoever. The staff are compulsive liars, again providing this as a so called “solution” isn’t a solution for us as 1. the problem was no solved therefore the complete opposite of what is defined as a solution, and 2. the again “resolution” was not beneficial for us and wasn’t “complimentary” or a form of “compensation” as they specifically used the word “required” when we was told to move. This place has completely ruined my experience and I will advise everyone against coming here as it is very unsanitary, you will find hair on tables upon entry to your apartment. Health and safety hazards are taken as trivial issues here that shouldn't be considered to be resolved.

Wouldn't book again
Myself, my husband and 2 of my friends booked a week here recently for our holiday in Tenerife. The location is okay but bear in mind that it's a 15-20 minute taxi ride to get to anywhere touristy such as Costa Adeje or Los Cristianos, and costs between 15-20€ per taxi ride. The plus side was staff at the reception were able to order taxis for us upon request and they turned up within 5 minutes every time, which was helpful.
The apartments are a decent size and were quite clean. Unfortunately, even though we were staying for a week, we were not offered clean towels or bedding once during our stay, which was quite peculiar for us. Reception did however provide us with 2 extra pillows upon request. This wasn't the end of the world but it would have been nice to be given clean towels.
There's a reasonably priced café-restaurant on site that offers a good selection of food and drinks, and the staff are very friendly (especially Lorenzo!). The only downside was that my husband and I paid for 3 breakfasts for 30€ (which is a special offer) and unfortunately on the day we both wanted our last breakfast as part of the offer (we had both had 2 out of the 3 breakfasts at this point), we were told there was only 1 breakfast left between the 2 of us. Unfortunately because of the language barrier we were unable to explain this to the staff member, who insisted that one of us had used all 3 breakfasts (this wasn't the case at all, either they made a mistake or someone used our breakfast). We couldn't be bothered to argue this with the staff so ended up re-paying for the 3rd breakfast which was a bit annoying. There is also a small supermarket on site which is only open until 6.30pm and to be honest it doesn't really stock much.
The other downside was there was a large group of around 20 people who consistently smoked by the pool (despite this not being allowed), and smoking marijuana on their balconies, which meant my husband and I couldn't hang our stuff out to dry as it would have stank. When I raised this with Jonathan at reception, I was simply told that this wasn't against hotel policy, despite the staff 'not liking it', there was nothing they could really do about this. We got talking to another staff member who explained that this group regularly frequent this hotel/apartment complex and basically get away with doing what they like due to being regular customers, and that management don't really care.
As for Palm Mar itself, it's a quiet area with decent nightlife and a great selection of restaurants of different cuisines. I highly recommend Sea Lounge for fine dining, and Casa Mia offers an excellent range of Italian food. It's peaceful yet close enough to other hotspots of Tenerife if you fancy something a bit more hustle and bustle.
Based on my experience I probably wouldn't return to this hotel again, despite there being some positives. Special shout out to Ronald the lifeguard however, he was amazing and very friendly!

A place....
Our stay in these apartments has been truly wonderful. From the first moment we felt very well received and taken care of, something that made the difference during our family stay. The apartment was impeccable, it was very comfortable and cozy.
We want to make a special mention to Iván, at reception, for his professionalism, kindness, and what can we say about the pool bar team, despite the volume of work they are admirable. It is a pleasure to meet people who really care about making the guests' experience exceptional.
We take with us a beautiful memory of our stay and, without a doubt, I will return. A totally recommendable place and a human team that makes the experience even more special.

The room was massive, we had a 2 bedroom and it was so roomy.
Kitchen was well stocked
All round lovely.
The walls are thin, so it very much depends on your naibours, we politley asked if they would kerp the noise fown and it was fine.
The area has lots of nice restraunts. Its very quite and calming.
And a very diffrent vibe from the tourist trap of las americas.
