Weekend stay in Kranj

We decaide to visit Slovenia, Bled and Bohinj and this hotel in Kranj was a great place to stay, away from the rest of the tourists. It is around 30 min away from Bled. Room was basic but fine. Breakfast was ok, but it could be better... so this is reason why I gave 4 points. Parking was free and staff nice.

Never again!

This hotel located in the city centre of Kranj, Slovenia is a very noisy, aging, uncomfortable place that takes us back to communist Yugoslavia. The hotel Creina welcomes groups who behave very badly The horrible & infamous food is served by an unfriendly & incompetent staff. In addition, you don't sleep well because the bedding is bad. Run away!

If you want a nice place to stay in Slovenia, don't bother with this one

No air conditioning. No fridge, although there is a gigantic empty cupboard that takes up unnecessary space. Small rooms. And that's not the worst of it. We are a family of 3 adults and got a room with 2 beds and a tiny extendable couch/futon, which was also broken. When trying to talk to the staff about this issue, some of them were unfriendly, rude, sarcastic, overall just unprofessional. Other guests complained about having trash in the bathroom. I'm complaining about having dirty sheets on the bed, a dusty fan which isn't working, dirty walls and a dirty carpet. And the smell of the area is honestly horrendous. Both around the hotel and inside the tiny, unventilated room. Sleeping in these conditions is unacceptable. Not deserving of their 4 star rating.

Terrible service

Went there for work - didn't stay in the hotel, only visited the restaurant. I ordered a lemonade. The waitress was not even trying to smile or be polite - it was almost like she was hissing everything she said. And then, she brought the receipt and my colleague asked her to split the check. She rolled the eyes and almost yelled she doesn't have time for that. Also, she charged me double (as if my portion of lemonade was so big) and said she made me more than she should have. Didn't even ask me or tell me if that is okay before i drank it. Overall,sadly, such a terrible service it completely ruined the reputation of the restaurant and the hotel.

- Food is good (breakfast and dinner also).
- brand new tv

- Free wifi is only in the lobby.
- mouldy shower
- No fridge or minibar in the room (they have the place under the table so maybe they will upgrade the rooms later).
