5-star potential, 1-star management behaviour
Our stay was lovely right up until the final dinner, which unfortunately turned sour. One of the managers singled out a few of us and asked us to change our shoes in public, rather than handling it discreetly. What made it worse was that he ignored other guests wearing the exact same footwear. It felt incredibly uncomfortable and simply isn't the standard you'd expect from a five-star hotel.
We've since flagged this in both the post-checkout and electronic surveys, but we've heard absolutely nothing back. It's a real shame, as the excellent service from the rest of the staff has been let down by this manager's lack of professionalism. Sadly, this will be our first and last visit.
