Luxury
Stayed here 3 nights for a conference. Very close to the airport. Superb hotel-loved the bed and shower. Amazing breakfast. Friendly staff. Good internet. Interior a bit outdated but well kept. Was happy here. And easy to get around with Uber-and cheap.

Exceptional - the staff here are incredible
Our stay here was exceptional and so much more than we expected.
With one of us having a dairy and egg allergy it can be really difficult to get food and be safe in hotels, even 5* ones. The chefs were outstanding here. At breakfast the chef came and met us, took my wife around showing her everything she could have allergy free. He then also made her some grilled vegetables fresh. Breakfast was all round excellent.
Same experience at dinner, the chef came over and made my wife’s meal from scratch. It was so good. Thanks chef Mohammed and also Ahmed.
The massage team in the spa were amazing too. As was Marcelina guest relations. The room service and housekeeping were also exceptional.
Special mention to Latifa and Farha at breakfast - they even remembered the way we like our coffee and what we ordered for breakfast the day before. The team round the pool are always making sure you have everything you need.
We’ve actually cancelled out other hotel at the end of our tour in Cairo - even though we’ve already paid for it, and we’re going to go back to stay at the Kempinski again. It was the best way to stay our holiday and we want to end it the same way. Oh thank you to everyone there - you totally made our stay special.
There is only one thing which I would say could be better. The thermal indoor pool 1) isn’t warm and 2) needs a refurb. The ceiling is a bit mouldy and it looks very tired and a bit dirty, especially compared to the rest of the spa.

Excellent experience
Our amazing housekeeper Mohammed Ahmed was very helpful, smiling and always asking if we need anything else in the room, we noticed and appreciated the care he put into his work every day.
