Horrible stay

I recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
When I arrived, the room was clearly not clean: there were signs of dirt and trash left around, and the bins hadn't been emptied. There was no toilet paper or soap provided, which is unacceptable.
The sheets and the duvet also had a very unpleasant smell, showing a serious lack of hygiene and maintenance.
Another major issue is that the hotel is located on the first and second floors without any elevator.
This makes it extremely inconvenient when traveling with luggage. We had to wait for someone to help us carry our bags, and it was clear that the staff were not particularly happy or willing to assist, which made the situation even more uncomfortable.

Horrible!!!

Terrible hotel, 3 days spent moving from one room to another due to light failures, non-functioning air conditioners, cockroaches, nonexistent breakfast; one star is too much, it should be closed!!!!!

It really isn't a hotel.

It's the worst hotel I have ever seen. In reality, you can't even call it a hotel. Entrance too dirty, no elevator.
As for the food, we were staying on a B&B basis and they offered us two slices of bread, 2 pieces of cheese, some jam, and a tea. To get a coffee, you have to pay 70 EGP.
The rooms are dirty, especially their balconies, which haven't been cleaned since the hotel opened, perhaps. Dirty sheets with black stains.
As for the staff, imagine a receptionist in a suit and flip-flops that he wore during our entire stay. It really isn't a hotel.

SAFETY ALERT

I am writing this to warn other travelers, especially females, about the property located at 6 Bank Misr Street, which operates under multiple fraudulent aliases including Cairo Plaza Hotel, and Cairo Plaza Luxe Hotel. I was placed in rooms with exposed, live electrical wiring, and the window to one of the rooms was bolted down and couldn’t be open. The rooms were permeated by a powerful smell of mold and fermented garbage. The bathrooms and doors were visibly filthy with grime. The most concerning part of my stay was the hotel staff's response to my complaints. After I addressed the room conditions, the staff engaged in active intimidation. They immediately cut my internet access, falsely blaming 'router issues.They switched off the power and lights to my entire floor, creating a threatening and unsettling environment designed to isolate me.
As a solo female traveler, I felt physically endangered and was only able to escape by finding a cellular signal on a nearby street to call for transport.
DO NOT STAY HERE. This property uses multiple names to hide its history of safety violations and predatory behavior. If you value your safety, avoid all listings associated with this address! Also, be advised that the navigation system only finds the property as Cairo Plaza Hotel. Lastly, the contact information provided on booking platforms differs from the numbers listed on the signage and/or their business card. When I attempted to request a refund, the platform I booked through admitted they couldn’t reach or get the property to respond. You will find more realistic reviews about the property on established navigation systems. Hope this helps many others from being put in an unsafe and unsettling situation as I was.
