Superb location for visiting Legoland!

Wonderful quiet little place. The place is family-owned and the family is very friendly. Very nice breakfast. You can easily see that they are very much used to having families with children as there are a lot of corners filled with toys, and a lot of Lego.
Legoland is just a few kilometers away, and this hotel offers a quiet stay close to Lego land in the middle of nature.

A very nice experience!

The stay in this hotel, surrounded by the absolute peace of nature, was really fantastic: clean rooms, rich breakfast and – above all – a great availability shown by the owners, Jørgen & Gerda, who picked us at airport (round trip) and every day took us to Legoland/Lalandia, located in the near town of Billund. They were so nice, kind and left us really a happy memory of the place!

Perfect place for a family

The room was clean, cosy and very confortable. The garden was very well equiped with lots of toys and playgroud: a paradise for kids! The owners are very nice and helpful. Lots of facilities for travelers: fridge, place to eat etc. Breakfast is very good: homemade bread and chocolate cake were very appreciated! A place to keep as a favorite when visiting Danmark.

Personal and service beyond the usual!

Skjoldbjerg Garnihotel outside of Billund was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were large and clean. The food was simple, but very good. However, the reason you definitely should stay here is the amicable service. The hotel manager drove me to Billund center twice during my stay. Recommended.

Great place for family to unwind after sightseeing!

Overall a great hotel for the family at a good price! We spent two nights here while spending our days at LEGOLAND. The owners were quite considerate and helpful, with advice on where to eat and entertaining our children (including a parking pass for Lalandia - right across the street from LEGOLAND. Nice garden with a playground in the back with the beautiful church and village in the background was great for the kids to unwind after a long day at LEGOLAND. When it was raining there was plenty of sitting areas outside of the rooms for relaxing and enjoying the quiet (plus plenty of bins of Legos for the kids to enjoy). Room was roomy and well furnished. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of baked goods, meats, fruit, and eggs to eat and plenty of coffee and tea to drink. It made our trip to LEGOLAND and Denmark!
