Housekeeping stole from me

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. After returning to my room, I discovered that a packaged snack I had left behind had been partially eaten. When I reported it to the hotel, I was repeatedly told there was “no way” housekeeping had taken anything and that there was nothing they could do.
The most frustrating part wasn’t the missing snack—it was how my concerns were handled. Rather than investigating the situation or acknowledging why I felt uncomfortable, I was essentially told that if I wanted to file a police report, I could.
I no longer felt comfortable staying there and checked out early. After filing a police report and providing the documentation to American Express, I was eventually refunded for the unused nights of my stay.
Every hotel can make mistakes. What matters is how they’re handled. I would have appreciated empathy, a willingness to investigate, and an effort to make the situation right. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and uncomfortable.
I hope management takes guest concerns more seriously in the future, especially when those concerns involve trust and security.

Beds were comfortably and parking is free, but otherwise poor quality end to end.
This hotel is en desperate need of a makeover.
And spend your money on breakfast at the local bakery. Not worth it, sorry!

Very nice beds, nice garden.
No non dairy products for breakfast, not even oats milk for the coffe.

I just needed a room for a couple of nights and did not use any facilities. The hotel is conveniently located with public transport in walking distance. Close to beach and harbor with views of the sea, shops and dining.
