Simple, clean and comfortable, good breakfast
They do however do functions, and when we arrived there were quite a few people arriving carrying gifts - they all went to a large function room to the rear. I suppose we stood out with our big suitcases, or maybe we were the last ones to book in, as the receptionist popped out , dropped an envelope on the counter and was about to disappear - I asked the room number and he said "its in the envelope" then disappeared.
On our way to the room we passed an out-of-order drinks machine and a large fridge where people could leave their drinks to keep cold (clearly no fridges in the room). our room was very large, with a nice big window looking out onto the major road and the gym opposite - no nets so if you want to undress close the curtains. i guess it can be made up as a family room, but I was a little surprised to see two single beds made up - there is a large sofa which I expect can be made up as a double, but actually I'd rther have a "proper" single bed than a double convertable any day. It was a little old fashioned, but spotlessly clean, with a complimentary bottle of red wine. back in the foyer we found a small bar area with complimentary tea and coffee - I'd prefer it in the room but it was not a problem.
We went out to dinner, and had another drink when we returned (there seems to be a small sort of pub adjoining, but there were no opening hours posted and we never saw it open). We slept well in the comfortable beds, and enjoyed breakfast in what I suppose doubles as a conference room - there was a range of very good breads, cheese, meats, pastries, tea/coffee and juices all help yourself. it was very satisfying, although the room was a bit lacking in atmosphere.
If you are just looking for a very clean, spacious room for a night ot two this fits the bill perfectly.

Good place and good price
Nice with the possibility to eat your own food in the reception area and the possibility to make coffee/tea.
Nice breakfast buffet, which lacked only eggs and bacon.
Good location close to the Box and Messecenter.
Overall a really good stay.
