Once in a lifetime experience of staying in the Lego themed hotel on the Legoland theme park

Good hotel for families to experience Legoland in every way. Beware of the air conditioning because... it doesn't exist!
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Right from the outside, you enter the magical Lego world with some large sculptures, including a roaring dragon.
Upon entering, you are completely immersed in Lego starting from the lobby where there is a beautiful dragon and some giant Lego man sculptures.
The staff is very kind and helpful; you can tell by their demeanor that they deal with many families and children.
Unfortunately, the rooms are not very large, the furnishings are dated and perhaps should be updated, but the hotel is clean and livable.
I would also reconsider the furniture; we had a room with a double bed and 1 bunk bed for the children, which turned out to be quite small and uncomfortable (my 10-year-old son was getting out of bed with his feet).
BEWARE because there is NO air conditioning in the rooms (we experienced two nights well with the window open because it was cool, but on the third night we suffered from the heat as there was no air circulation from outside and the temperatures rose). The air conditioning system, however, is present in all the hallways, playrooms, the lobby, and the breakfast/restaurant area.
There are several playrooms with Lego pools where you can build whatever you want and some stations (not all functioning) with Nintendo consoles; I would particularly eliminate this last feature because if I come to a place like this, I don't want my children to get attached to a console. Additionally, throughout the hotel, there are giant Lego sculptures everywhere and a small Lego Store in the lobby.
From the hotel, through an electronic bracelet, you can directly access both the Legoland amusement park and a small outdoor playground shared with the adjacent Castle Hotel.
The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the center of Billund. There are not many dining alternatives, but we always went to the town center in search of some typical restaurant, and the walk from the hotel to the center is pleasant.
The hotel parking is paid. Once you check in, you access the parking app via a QR code and pay for the actual stay since you need to enter the date and time you will leave the hotel for departure.

Expecting for more
Room was like a sauna! No airconditioning (and when it happened to be very hot days this was not very nice). And to be honest, rooms really need a renewal & update, they were outdated. Beds for kids (three of them) were very uncomfortable to sleep and the musky smell in the room was unpleasent.
View was great and staff was very friendly but we were expecting a lot more for this price. We've been travelling quite a bit and this really was a big dissappointment. Sorry to say this.

The hotel stay from hell
The hotel is very old and worn. The rooms in the pirate section were very poorly washed. And there is no ventilation, so in July it was GRUSOMT hot and no possibility of cooling the room, except for small fan. We kept dying all night by the heat. The only answer we got at the front desk is we are welcome to write bad review

DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE AT HOTEL LEGOLAND BILLUND
I am deeply frustrated with how my very first trip to Denmark was ruined by a severe lack of communication from LEGOLAND Holiday Village.
Upon arrival, I parked my car right in front of the hotel. The staff failed to give me a guest parking permit or provide any instructions about the parking rules. As a direct result of the hotel’s mistake, I was hit with an expensive parking fine after stayed all day in the Legoland.
This caused an immense amount of stress, anxiety, and discomfort for my family during what was supposed to be a magical vacation. Instead of leaving with great memories of Denmark, we are leaving deeply upset by this avoidable mistake and the lack of proper guest support.
I have already submitted a formal complaint via your service center and I expect Hotel LEGOLAND to take full responsibility but the Legoland but the hotel is trying to wash their hands of the parking fine
Please contact me to fix this situation and restore my faith in your hospitality.
