Fantastic family holiday at Lanterna Premium Camping Resort
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Lanterna Premium Camping Resort and can warmly recommend the resort to both families with children and couples. The area is extremely well maintained, clean and beautiful with a fantastic location directly by the sea. The view of the Adriatic Sea is magical, especially at sunset.
Our cottage was modern, fresh and well equipped, with a lovely terrace where we could enjoy quiet mornings and warm evenings. The kids loved the pool areas, the water park and all the activities on offer, while we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, the many restaurants and the high level of service.
What really impressed us was how big the area is while it feels safe and well organized. There is something for everyone, whether you want to swim, cycle, walk along the coast or just relax with good food and a glass of local wine.
The friendly and helpful staff made the stay even better. We went home with amazing memories and already feel like we want to come back.

Mass processing/no relaxation/
We are currently spending our well-deserved vacation at the site.
Despite a stay of 16 days, we were placed right next to the main road... It is extremely loud, cars drive through continuously from 6:30 a.m. until the middle of the night at 1 a.m. There is no midday or nighttime quiet period. The staff does not pay attention to this either.
Sleeping is only possible with earplugs... A request and plea for a different pitch were rejected immediately.
No other option or solution was offered; that has nothing to do with relaxation.
The cleanliness of sanitary building number 11 is abysmal; toilets/sinks/showers are only cleaned conditionally/roughly.
Even after informing the reception, there was no improvement in cleanliness.
Used diapers are lying around the pool area; they are not removed, and no one feels responsible for it. Great importance is not placed on cleanliness there either.
The site is purely mass processing and has no relaxation effect.
Not worth a single star!
We are definitely not coming back!

Overpriced, disorganised chaos. Avoid!
Massively underwhelmed by this site in virtually every way. We’re leaving early after a rubbish experience. Overcrowded, over priced and charging for everything they possibly can whilst offering poor customer service and rarely a smile to be seen from the staff. Takeaway services advertised as open until 7pm but closed early two days running. Poolside is slippery and a massive health hazard. Electric scooters everywhere travelling too fast - a serious accident waiting to happen. The beach was so overcrowded with people we literally couldn’t sit down. Avoid unless you want to overpay for crowded chaos.

Regarding traffic within the resort, guest safety is one of our highest priorities. The maximum permitted speed throughout the campsite is 20 km/h, traffic signs are displayed across the resort, numerous speed bumps have been installed, and our Security team regularly patrols the campsite to remind guests to respect the traffic rules.
We are also sorry that the atmosphere during the peak season was not what you expected. As one of the largest camping resorts in Europe, Lanterna offers a lively family holiday environment, particularly during the busiest summer weeks.

Every morning next to us there was digging next to our tent at 6:00 we were there for 2 weeks. Water was thrown at our tent

Safety issue at the pool-area
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Lanterna Camping, but I was disappointed with how a safety issue was handled.
My son stepped through a loose plastic grate around the pool, causing his entire leg to go through. He suffered heavy bruising and cuts, and although we were fortunate it wasn't more serious, it could easily have been.
Reception asked me to email photos of the broken grate and my son's injuries, which I did immediately, including my phone number. After receiving no response, I sent two follow-up emails over the next two days and spoke to three different staff members before anyone took action. When management finally came to our campsite on the third day, they said they had tried to visit us earlier but we weren't there. However, a simple phone call or email would have resolved that immediately.
They apologized and offered us a voucher for the pizzeria and a 10% discount on our stay, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed that it took three days, three emails, and conversations with multiple staff members before the issue was taken seriously.
