Actual property is not what is advertised. Misleading!

Extremely disappointed. When booking via booking.com I rely on the advertised apt. Being the actual one advertised. Tetunua st difficult to find tucked away in a run down unloved old smelly building. The street appeal is disgraceful smelt of urine, dirty, rubbish everywhere. Then to get into the actual apartment its a fitness test of trying to climb unsafe steps around a corner that my foot was too big to fit in. I take size 40 or 8 size shoes. Even the mat of the next door neighbour was to big it overhung the steep steps by half the size if a normal mat you'd put at your front door. Does bookings.com check these apartments out for safety, cleanliness, upkeep of the building? What is someone falks down those steps and breaks something? Great way to start a holiday! We moved to another apartment this one is unliveable, below standard, plain dangerous and in a less than safe neighbourhood. Do yourself a favour book else where!!! So the big question is if I was injured falling down the stairs that are not safe and broke a leg would I be covered under my travel insurance? Probably not because I placed myself in an unsafe place. Then would the building public indemnity insurance be covering my medical Bill's? Is there even any public indemnity 8nsursnce, is there a state company to maintain the common areas, clean it, pick up the rubbish? Do yourself a favour & book elsewhere.
