Amazing!!
We absolutely loved our stay here. We arrived late at night and the view from our balcony at 10pm was breathtaking!! Stargazing became a nightly thing! However when we looked out in the morning on my husband's birthday....one word...Wow!!! That view will stay with us forever!!
Absolutely amazing, spotlessly clean, modern apartment with everything you need for a truly relaxing stay! We were greeted by Zohran and his lovely wife who were so helpful and always on hand if needed. These are family run apartments and you can tell how proud the family are of the complex and rightly so! This was our first time in Croatia and we were blown away by it's beauty and how lovely and welcoming everyone was. We had such a wonderful stay at Villa Sunset and hopefully be back soon! Thank you so much for helping us make lovely memories ❤️ x

Nice for longer stays
Sweet apartment with kitchenette. Perfect for a stay that is more than a day or two. Perfect for families. Small, nice pool - kids swimming - so I recommend this place with people who have children. Nice view. Approx 15 min (easy walk) to the beach. Supermarket and nice restaurant across the street. Sweet owner.

Great apartments and pool
Really nice apartments, very clean, well equipped and amazing sea views. The pool area is also really nice and relaxing, and was never too busy. The nearby beach is beautiful, although it is a lot of steps to get down!
From the apartment you can walk into Mlini, takes about 30 minutes. We also really enjoyed going into Cavtat which was around a 10 minute drive, or you get the number 10 bus (get from the Plat bus stop rather than Soline). To get to the bus stops you do have to walk along a very busy road but there is a clear pavement.
One small issue was that we were charged €5 per hour to use the pool afrer we checked out, and as our return flight was at 8pm this ended up being around €40. I do understand that as the hotel is small there can’t be loads of people using the sunbeds. However this extra charge wasn’t mentioned anywhere when we booked or checked in, and we practically had the pool to ourselves the whole day. If we’d known this before we probably would have just gotten an earlier flight, as we payed extra to have an evening flight so we could have a longer last day.

Regarding the use of the pool after check-out, we have 50% of the sunbeds by the pool of the total number of our guests, which is more than enough for a 3-star apartments and the number of people currently staying in the house.
The problem for us is that in the last few years many guests arrive before check-in and want to use the pool, and also after check-out because they have late flights.
So we should have about 40 sunbeds for 24 people, which is impossible for 3-star apartments.
That is why this year we started charging for sunbeds after/before check-out/in to reduce the number of people, as it is nicer then rejecting them.
Two of you got 2 sunbeds for the whole day for a total of 40€, and on some random beach in Croatia or Montenegro 1 sunbed costs 30-50€ per day, so I personally don't see the point in mentioning that in the review.
There is no option to add this extra service on platform, but nobody forced you to stay on pool last, you accepted it.
I really don't understand that some guests expect after check out(it really means check out) using pool, toilet and sitting area for free in house with limited sunbeds. That's true, it wasn't full of people because of cloudy weather, but it could be easily.
I am a traveler like you and after checking out I couldn't have any of that (pool, jacuzzi and luggage storage in Europe).
I hope our new potential guests will understand us.

Lovely modern apartment with stunning views and good location!
We loved our stay here! We stayed in a very modern and clean 2 bed apartment with the balcony right by the pool. The views were amazing and the apartment had everything we needed. Danko was a great host and very welcoming.
The pool was lovely and with a beach only a short walk away, it really is a great location! Only a 5-minute drive to Mlini (which was our favourite town) with lovely walks and restaurants.
Our only issues were there not being a secure luggage storage (our only options were to leave them on the balcony or a terrace near the apartments) and that we had to pay to use the pool for the day of our checkout per hour. As checkout is at 10am and our flight was not until 9:40pm we were unsure what to do with our day! We unfortunately had also ran out of cash but Danko was kind enough to accommodate us and was extremely helpful.

We do not have a luggage room, but your luggage was kept safe, we have never had a problem in 25 years, plus it is free of charge.

Stunning views
I have just stayed in the sunset villas
Accommodation was excellent, very clean with a balcony providing stunning sea and costal views
The accommodation is only a short bus ride away from Dubrovnik or Cavtat all very accessible on the number 10 bus £3 each way ish
The pool is excellent and never seemed to be very busy, always loungers available, very clean and tidy
Our room on the top floor was modern and well equipped, immaculately clean providing at superking size bed and the very important air conditioning which will keep the room to a very comfortable temperature
The owner Zoran is a gentleman, and is always helpful and able to assist with onward travel or transfers etc
Top tip Restaurant King Konoba is a must visit
