Short break to Postrana - Villa Bella

This accommodation exceeded expectations. Helpful & polite staff. Exceptionally clean & well maintained apartment & facilities. Very modern & contemporary. Local supermarket, cash point, bakery & bus stop 5-10min walk, and to the beach (which is beautiful) another 10mins. Will defo go back and would highly recommend. 5*.

Good base for exploring

3 of us stayed in the garden apartment with 1 on the sofa bed. Very welcoming staff on arrival. A good base if you have a car and intend to explore further afield as we did. Spilt 15-20 mins to ferry terminal; Omis 25 mins (rafting) and Brela beach a must in 1 hour. Local beaches are ok (you have to cross the main road) and 10-15 minutes walk. Beach side bars and cafes great for watching the sunset. Garden is private; all shade but flanked on both sides by a road serving other apartments on the hillside. Outside kitchenette useful. Apartment clean, modern and reasonably equipped. We didn’t use the (very small) pool...

Brief stay in May 2019

We arranged for an early check in to suit flight times and we were met and greeted by a lovely lady who was very helpful. Lovely clean apartment with a tiny kitchenette which catered for our needs nicely in quiet area off the main drag. It's a 15-12 minute walk up a fairly steep hill from the main road and bus services, routes to beach etc so if disabled then probably not best location but we didn't find it a problem at all.
Close to a couple of supermarkets and only 10-15 mins stroll from the beach and the café/bars, Not a lot in the actual area apart from the beach and cafe/bars which we found to be both friendly and welcoming and a great place to sit and relax with a few beers and food, but the bus stop is close and transport cheap so great place to base yourself and then jump on the bus to Split, Omis like we did for day trips.
Food and drink are both reasonbaly priced compared to the UK and all the people we had dealings with were lovely and friendly.

Above and beyond service and nice room.

The owner was very helpful and showed genuine interest in the guests and their activities. We were able to check in late and the host even printed off our boarding passes! Great level of service.
The rooms were nice and tidy and well equipped for cooking, we found the area to be quiet and relaxing, with stunning scenery.
The location was great with the beach just 5mins away and lots of beach bars to eat and drink at the seafront. A frequent bus took us to Split in around 15mins.
100% recommend.

Relaxed feeling. A bit like home

The building and room was superclean and fresh. Everything you need and a fully-equiped kitchen. Nice balcony. Cleaning daily if wished. A personal feeling to the room, not a cold hotel-feeling.
A nice pool in the backyard, in shadow but there is also chairs in the sun after 1 PM. We appreciated the cool shadow though, it was really hot out in the sun. My boyfriend caught a fever and the owner was so nice and helpful to us and offered us medicine without fee. A nice gesture we apprechiated.
The apartment is a ten min walk to the beach. On the same street is a foodstore and a nice relaxed bar.
Podstrana all in all is a calm place. Nice beaches and some restaurants here and there. A few of them more touristy than others. Otherwise go to split for more things to do. Uber takes 120 kn one way.
