Best Experience Ever

This place is amazing! The picture of the sign caught my attention and the prices sold me on it! Sometimes when a place is this reasonable the accommodations are too much like a hostel. This place was more like a charming bed and breakfast, with a cute little garden path on the way in. The room had a bunk bed and was VERY clean. Being on the second floor you can see all the way to San Jose, mountains all around, and a wonderful sunset behind the local cathedral. The private bathroom was very nice and clean. Feel free to go barefoot! A soup dinner and basic breakfast are offered if you want. They also welcome you to use the house kitchen if you want to cook or microwave anything. But everything you could want is a 1 minute walk away. The staff speak perfect English and are super friendly and accommodating. Very comfortable, with all the privacy you need. I won't go anywhere else! Thank you to all the staff. ❤️

A true home away from home.

This place is truly a home away from home. I never thought it was possible to feel just as comfortable in another place in the world as I did in the US but I have certainly proved myself wrong. I must say that the Kampos family has become my family. So welcoming, so comforting, and just genuinely kind individuals. I will be taking a short trip back to the US and know I will not be able to wait to come back.
On the patio, directly outside of the rooms upstairs, is one of the best views I have seen in Costa Rica. It overlooks all of Santa Barbara and down into San Jose. I spend hours out there and I don't think it will ever get old. The city is extremely laid back and the thought of safety won't cross your mind once. I hope you get to be a part of this amazing experience. It has made going back home to the US very difficult.
