We loved our stay at Macadamia! The unit is self-contained and well-equipped with everything that you might need - even salt and oil if you want to cook and laundry detergent for the washing. There is a fantastic soda just 5 mins walk away. The air conditioning was fantastic in one room and not so good in the other, but it gets cool at night and you can open the windows. We even saw an armadillo next to the driveway! Guillermo is super helpful, and this is a wonderful place to stay.

The house was immaculate, secure and quite. Our host was at the house for check in and greeted us warmly. Offered services to set up tours, gave us recommendations for food and answered phone calls promptly. Guillermo was our host and key to our amazing stay at Macadamia. We didn’t have a vehicle, but calling for a taxi was easy and quick. Highly recommend for a peaceful stay in quiet surroundings yet close to all the local activities.

We had an excellent stay at the Macadamia villas. The property is gated and secure, and each of the villas is well equipped and a good size for 2-6 people. The property is located slightly outside the main town, so I would recommend staying here only if you have your own vehicle.
The host, Guillermo, was very kind and welcoming, and gave us local recommendations during our stay. We even contacted him via WhatsApp during our stay and he arranged a tour for us. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this property if you're in the Santa Elena/Monteverde area.

Macadamia is perfectly located to enjoy the area’s parks and activities. Pretty much everything you’d want to visit is only about five or ten minutes away. Door to door, downtown Santa Elena is only 4 minutes. The house was very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. Two separate bedrooms were great for our family of four. Our kids loved the trampoline, and I loved sitting out on the comfy chair in front of the house reading early in the morning and watching the birds. Guillermo welcomed us warmly to our house. A bit of a language barrier on arrival, but we figured everything out between my mediocre Spanish and translation tools. Note: call/text ahead if your arrival to get the code to the gate at the end of the driveway as well as the separate code to your villa. The property was well landscaped, very secure and quiet.

Great staff.
Awesome home with modern amenities for a family for mid hundreds in December. highly recommend it.
