Clean, quiet, very friendly
The rooms are clean and basic also, with a hasp for a padlock which is provided for you if you don't have your own. The location is up a side street, so far away from the traffic noise, and our room was in the back which was even better. You can hear the sounds of the birds and not much else. This is in a bedroom community, so there is not loud music at night after about 9.
We also ate there and enjoyed the food. If I have one criticism of our stay there I would say that the coffee could be stronger--but I am an incredible coffee snob, so take that into account.
Claudio is very experienced and knowledgeable in the area and can recommend tours of the area. There is a nice, short hike just up above the hostel of about 600 m which gives a nice view of the harbour.
I can't think of a reason not to stay here unless you need a private bathroom or room service or the like.
