A real jungle experience

If you want to get a feel for a true jungle experience, this is the place.
Staying here was like staying in the jungle.
Very rustic except with running water, electricity and clean bedding. Situated right on the beach with great seating.
While swimming in the pool, I enjoyed monkeys playing in the trees and a huge iguana lazily watching from the high up tree.
We stayed in what felt like a tree house, with big windows that can be opened to enjoy the wild life and trees. The room was rustic and very clean. To get to private bathroom, there was exterior stairs. Showers were actually warm, which was a huge surprise considering we were in the jungle and most places don’t offer that luxury.
Downstairs, there is a little, basic, private kitchenette with refrigerator and a cooktop. Coffee supplies were provided.
The owner, Jim was a nice guy and seemed eager to make us comfortable. Whenever we needed anything , Jim would help out. Jim even allowed us to have a bbq and some other guests joined us.
The walk to restaurants and store wasn’t difficult.
This is not a 4 star hotel and if this is what you’re expecting, you will be disappointed.

No, no, no, no

We are traveling with the family in Costa Rica.
On the internet we found a nice hotel.
Arrived the blow hit us.
The entire area is dilapidated and dirty.
The owner sits on the armchair and drinks beer. As he staggered to the questionable dirty reception, he lit a joint.
The whole complex especially the rooms are dangerous, they fall apart.
Don't go there!!

Faded glory

Because your park has plenty of potential, but it starts with you and you have to be looking forward to it.
P.S. the owner accuses honest reviewers (he calls them negative) of using mind-altering substances and that their reviews are incorrect. I can honestly say that this review was written down to earth.

Don't go there

Terrible…. We escaped... Let's start from the pool, dirty water and that's all I'll say. Let's start with the kitchen dirty, or rather very dirty, with a DIY gas cylinder. The 1930s curtain bathroom with attached exposed electrical wires and tiles with obscene grout. Kitchen and bathroom (as written on the site) are below the room (approximately 15 steps). But the best thing is in the room which in 10 square meters there is a double bed and 4 single beds. 2 fans are your fresh air. It's disgusting but the most inconceivable thing is that they allow certain structures to be open today in 2024. Dear Jim, instead of living on your laurels, try to fix your structure or retire... a colleague

Pure peace

I love this place, if you want to unwind from a busy life style this is where you can do it, I've met the nicest people here, Jim has become one of my best friends in Costa Rica, he is very hospitable . Always willing to help with his guests needs. The location is directly on the beach in the most beautiful jungle setting. I can't say enough good things about this place. I'm looking forward to coming back to my home away from home. See you soon Jim .
