This was a great motel. Nice and clean room with a great view. The manager (I assume) was extremely kind and a great host. He showed us to our room. We arrived after a long day and had no vehicle, so we needed to order food. He helped us order food from a restaurant over the phone because our Korean is very minimal. We were so appreciative to have a nice end to our exhausting day. Thank you again for being such a great host! :)

Country Hospitality in a Heavenly Place. Luxury at Budget Price.

No skyscraper in sight! Tranquil setting for this gem of a place in the most scenic part of Sth Korea yet visited. 3km to fabulous Namhae island and a great easy walk across the bridge from motel. Lovely room with a view over crops, inlet, Namhe Island and surrounding mountains. Weekends were difficult if bussing in, so own car an advantage. Saved by the kindness of the owners who picked up and dropped off from bus terminal, even taking us to the Saturday event across the bridge on the island. It's a traditional reenactment of an historic event which I could not find info about on net. Impressive bridge under construction. Hotel has beautiful features like marble tile floors, special lighting, huge bath in spacious bathroom and a quasi luxurious bedroom with lots of extras. No eateries around so BYO or drive 5 min across the bridge to the many raw fish and seafood specialty restaurants. Even better now it's spring and the famous Hadong blossoms everywhere. Gorgeous!
