A gem in Sokcho!

The good reviews of this pension were accurate. The host explained the local sights, provided recommendations for restaurants and hiking trails. The room was very nice and included a hot tub too. Only sorry that we were passing through and could stay only one night. Would definitely stay here again.

The owner was incredibly generous and hospitable. He gave us a mini orientation of Sokcho when we arrived and keys places of interest. Even printed out recommended restaurants based on your dietary requirements.
The location was perfect. In a quiet area that was easy accessible via bus and in between the greater Sokcho town and the Seoraksan Park. It was very serene and the mountains in the backdrop felt magical.
The accomodation was everything you would need. It was clean, well stocked and warm in the cold weather. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.
The accomodation also had a communal area with tea, coffee, board games, dvds and even badminton. Felt very homely.

Super friendly host , also managed to get us a baby crib , since Koreans babies are sleeping on a matterss

Great helpful host. Super location between Sokcho and the stunning national park nearby. Easy access to both via nearby bus line, with buses running every 20 minutes. Or via taxi, which is a short ride into town. They have ample free parking on site too. Enjoyed our stay just in the edge of the city, as gave a peaceful and romantic atmosphere to our wonderful trip. Good value for price, we could have afforded a more expensive option but actually preferred to stay somewhere were we could get to know the owner and was more unique than a standard cookie-cutter large hotel.
